You fool it's simple really you play barns, then you summon blood of the ancient one. Bring him back in then play him again, summon another blood of the ancient one, then BOOM the ANCIENT ONE!!!! Believe me it works 90% of the time, I learn from master darkkmane, he is rank 30 you know.
An impressive video would be "attacking with the ancient one"

+Oguz FaN big game hunter, deadly shot + any of the other random removal, equality, keeper of uldaman + a few others would still be able to kill or nullify it.
+Lynila Beats Doesn't really help it that much.. Equality consecrate would still kill it because they do not 'target' the minion. Yes, it nullifies hex but then we are just making it harder to kill from certain classes and I think the pally deck is the main problem for this deck, not shaman or priest.
imo, bad card, you can't really do much to make it better without making it OP

I think the best ancient one deck would have to be a brann shadowcaster deck

I used Faceless Manipulator + Polimorph once on the Ancient One. It wasn't all terrible for him. At least he got a sheep.

To be honest, i'm finding Hearthstone pretty boring to play in Standard... it is really diffcult to push a new control deck, everything is Gimmick or needs Combo cards.

All decks are just the usual C'thun, face, zoo or some other variation of a control deck.
I can barely see a full randuin or only dragon or other stupid decks that I like to play with.
I wish that more people play this game like TB. Gimmick all the way :)

I have a fair amount of success with my Priest Blood deck, its very similar with a ton of spells but basically you run enough minions in the deck to exhaust their removal, and even probably sacrifice one of the bloods, and at the end of the game you play a blood wait til next turn and then drop Herald Volajz
I've tried the Ancient one with warrior, while also including Varian Wrynn and Y'sharrj. I summoned it once, had some epic feels, then went back to playing good decks.

Kripp you gotta try this card with rogue, Gang up Brann Shadowcaster leads to some very interesting interactions, I only run one of the bloods, you can also still run a very effective early game

You could've played rogue and stealthed it until you got out that one shadow shaper thing to make it a 1 mana minion later. I dunno, just a though.

The first day I made an ancient one handlock deck. The idea of that deck was that the opponent will play all his removals on my giants and other big minions and then when I play the blood of the ancient one they just can't counter it. It's like a win more handlock but it was really fun to play :D
I made a druid deck with mana ramp, and Reno Jackson. Tons of card draw and I use Blood + faceless = ancient one and they immediatly quit! So fun! Needs tons of giant cards and Aviana.
Try this concept with shaman & ancestors call
if the ancient one had less stats and had 'Can't be targeted by spells..' then it'd be pretty cool

It could be a 1000/1000 immune to spells or even have "you win the game when you summon this minion" as an effect and NO ONE would play it in a competitive deck.
Playing two shitty 9 mana 9/9 cards in your deck, drawing both in time and getting one to stick on the board for a turn so they can merge into the Ancient One is too difficult...

I tried to use my golden blood of the ancient one today after 5 loses I decided to dust it and move on with my life.

+Raf Star Kinda, yeah. You'd need to somehow find 14 mana to play them both together though, 15 if you also wanted to drop the 1-mana blood right away. Herald Volazj or whatever also works for 15. Given the immense difficulty in being able to spend that much in one turn both are probably destined to be significantly less consistent than any other methods of summoning it.

It's basically Hearthstone Exodia, minus the actual winning.
Emperor Thaurissan makes this work, Archmage Antonidas, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Echoes of Medivh, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Sorcerer's Apprentice all for only 10 mana. Echoes of Medivh gives you a Fireball so you win.
Priest against Druid can try to get a Druid class card through something like Nefarian. Auchenai Soulpriest Tree of Death, ggwp
what about the shadowcaster on rogue ? or he's best bet is resurect?

Blood of the ancient one, conceal. Next turn second BotAO Faceless Manipulator or Shadowcaster. Bonus points for playing Brann with your Shadowcaster so you get two 1/1 BotAO's.

Easiest card to play with naga sea witch
+Optik Goose Easy. Just play Naga Sea Witch on turn 9, pray it survives on turn 10, play both of the blood of the ancient ones, and pray that your opponent doesn't have removal or isn't a warrior with a lot of armor.
+Nui Harime ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º Instead of "pray" you can use taunts, secrets, stealths, decoys, etc. to make Naga survive.

seems like you and me had different ideas on the ancient one, you made it easy to summon i made a deck so full of threats the opponent would hopefully be out of removal by the time i played it
i play blood of the ancient one in my priest deck, which has plenty of other creatures. I've gotten 2 ancient ones out at the same time, twice! Hint, there is a certain legendary that makes cards cheaper, and another that makes 1/1 copies, and other cards that copy or make copies of cards as well, so have fun!

I've been playing a Rogue blood of the old guy deck and it actually works surprising well sometimes. I would love to see someone bring a blood deck to a tournament.
Is the ancient one possible on a shaman reincarnate deck with faceless and deathrattle resummon similar to what feugen and stalagg do?
Aviana + Coin seems like a good way to play them both in the same turn (or innervate, so yeah)

Javier Foo true, but 1) that's GvG non-standard card 2) it's not a good card so no one use her, who would put her in deck just for this card 3) Ancient One probably dead before you can do that.
The way you play this deck is choosing a Rogue and concealing the first Ancient One.
Basically a miracle rogue with Gadgetzan to cycle (draw) cards.
It's not a top tier deck ofc but it does win games.
Kripparian always does these things with his hands and squints when he says "heyguyshowsitgoingkripparianhere".
I really noticed it this video and then went back and watched the first 10 seconds of like 10 of his other videos and he does the exact same thing lol

I added Blood of the Ancient one along with Faceless Manipulator to a Warlock deck, and got The Ancient One summoned on my first game along with being able to attack and win the game with it. I don't think you need to go to all the trouble you did to actually be able to play Blood of the Ancient One and have it survive. My time spent changing my deck and playing the game to get this to work--approximately 8 minutes.You spent way more time than needed in order to have the card come into play.
Have you thought about bring this deck back using Mage Quest, Molten reflection and Barns?
brann plus barnes with only blood would work quite well too i believe.
I know i shouldnt have, but i really wanted to try this out, so i just crafted two Bloods, and im going to try an Aviana deck and try pull it off.
Blood of the Acient One + Naga sea witch should be pretty terrifying.
Just finished an arena run with rogue where I got blood of the ancient one and shadow caster. Managed to summon the Ancient One once against a pally. He dropped Truesilver and immediately attacked it. Didn't get to hear it's attack sound :(
What happens if you have 3 blood of the ancient ones out at a time? Or 4?
This is one of the synergies in my Herlad deck
Thaurissan seems like an ok fit, if you can keep it alive 2 turns, then you can play blood and faceless in the same turn.

In Rogue, Blood of the Ancient 1 serves as a one of. Showcaster (especially with Brann) makes it far more viable. The weakness of this version is there are only 3 cards to add to the 1, however in rogue Thistle Tea, Faceless, and so on make it much more viable.
I had some success with blood of the ancient one deck using Aviana. Managed to summon and kill my opponent with the ancient one at least 3 times (out of some 6 games I did).
The only thing in HS that helps to save minions from direct removals is stealth. So may be roge can use this card more effectively in some sort of controll deck?
How about rogue class, with shadowcaster, gangup, y'shaarj and shadowstep? same deckbasics as c'thun rogue, but with blood of the ancient one
I recently got destroyed as by a random Avianna deck at rank 5. Ran aviana innervate double blood of the ancient one. Was terrifying.
Am I doing something wrong by trying to use Aviana to create the Ancient one? The way I see it even if they kill the ancient one I still got Aviana out, leaving aviana on board can be a huge mistake.
Another version I've played against was rogue with conceal and shadowcrafters.
why did the paladi attack first and then used keeper of uldaman?
at the time of the video I don't know if you have the cards at the time but, would it not be easier to summon him threw druid or shaman? with druid you have "Aviana" and "Kun the Forgotten king" combo that might have gone better, and then Shaman you use "Ancestral Spirit" and "N'Zoth. the Corruptor"? I am a newer player so I don't know if those would have worked out in the end, but those are the combos I could think of that may have helped make the experience less stressful and you would not have to worry so much about not having to many higher level cards in your deck.
Maybe the bloods should trigger at the end of your opponents turn so your opponent has to deal with both of them? That would make the combo somewhat more viable, but then again maybe they don't want a minion that can one-shot your opponent to be viable anyway.
So which one is worse, angry chicken or blood of the ancient one?
they should change it so it has the text "cannot be one-card destroyed" so it can't just be like "shadow word death" no it has to be damage spells and brawl

I did end up getting the Ancient one in the crossroads tavern brawl. Drew into one of the Bloods, and echo'd the other one. Cept my opponent got Kelthuzad with Chillmaw, making it impossible for the Ancient one to actually do anything other than getting rid of Chillmaw every turn. :/
Is it possible to get the ancient one by any other means? As in evolve, portals etc. I assume not, would be kinda broken, funny though.
I run it with Herald and it works great I got to rank 12 with it in one streak. Though mine is a control oriented priest with the addition of the ancient one.
I had more luck using it as an alternate win condition in a freeze mage variant myself. Just one of a few major late game threats.
I made a 50% winrate deck with aviana 2 bloods and 1 faceless. It's for funzies so it's doing alright bearing in mind the decks that are out there. I think the aviana iteration of the ancient one deck is better.
I've got a rogue deck that works pretty well summoning ancient ones.
What about an Ancient One deck in wild? Mage with Duplicate or Echo Of Medivh? Maybe even Shaman? Warrior with Blood Warriors?
I find yshaarj and barnes is handy for pulling this combo off.
Rogue is pretty fun with the ancient one, you use things like shadow aster and hang ups to get as many as possible, in 1 game I was ale to summon 4 ancient ones:)
One time I was playing against someone and he used Barnes to summon the ancient one. Then he shadow stepped and used Barnes again then formed the ancient one. All I did was execute it but it was really cool
Aviana and innervate for an ancient one out of nowhere. Maybe a nozdormu to panic them with that one extra mana
Can the evolve mechanic turn a 8 drop minion into the ancient one?

Try doing druid and doing avianna/innervate summons? druids have a lot of good taunts to mitigate early and mid game damage.
Have you thought about using a spare part to make it go stealth or a rogue card perhaps? they seem to be pretty mana cheap and playable the same turn:D
What about comboing Blood of the Ancient One with Y'Shaarj or Aviana?

how come I haven't seen anyone even try an ancient one deck with aviana? you could get them both out in one turn pretty easy with innervate, coin, or a discount on aviana from emperor. it seems like the easiest and most consistent way to do it, not to mention druid's ramp would help get you to ten mana faster for that combo anyways
