  • Ok, now something related to my modeling work and role playing. :)
    This head piece / headdress was originally created for 1) my role playing character Harhama from oldtownfestival.net 2) for a body paint photo shoot in which I was fully covered in black and gold, inspired by Egyptian gods and goddesses.
    I'm using Worbla as my main material. This is my first DIY video so I hope you enjoy. :)
    This also works as a teaser for my becoming BTS video about that body paint shoot. ;) Stay tuned!
    Ps. Crafting is fun!

    i like this a lot... but a few things to really bring it out... the gold paint is really good but the headpiece is really good, but the gold has to be brighter. when you look at all the pictures of the Queen it is bright. post-apocalyptic look I can see it but. I'm sure it would be brighter. now the body paint is a nice touch, and the black with the gold fits nicely. I love the dark look. One thing about that I get the feeling of Anubus look. still very nice.

    This is amazing! I'm going to build a White Vulture headdress (very similar to what you've done here), and I have a question: What weight of worbla did you use? I tried it once but the piece I got was too heavy. Thanks!

    • @BlackthornWitch
      @BlackthornWitch  7 лет назад

      Hi! Hmm, hard to say. Just the basic one. But part of the size comes from those fake flower leaves. And the ball that I added is very, very light. :) But one thing that might help: I added some padding under the headpiece to make it feel softer against my head. That's how the weight doesn't hurt your scalp. :)

    when i watched the last part again... an idea came to me... instead of being the Queen of Egypt... I got the feeling of a Dark Queen. from down under. You could say you would look like Anubus wife. if he had one.
    Just saying.
