Missing for more than 3 years, Coalie the cat turns up 30 miles away

When Coalie the cat disappeared from Tacoma in the summer of 2020, Remy Knoke and his family thought the worst. But a miracle discovery on the Key Peninsula - and an identifying microchip - reunited the long-lost kitty with his family last month.

My cat disappeared for 4 weeks and just came back one day. I always believed he must have jumped in someone s truck bed and was unintentionally taken for a ride. He was super malnourished but bounced back to health after a few weeks. I believe he somehow found his way home. Perhaps that happened to your cat. So happy he is home.

I'm glad you had a happy ending, it is the exception🙄🙄
It's easier said than done but keeping these guys inside is better for everyone.
There are just too many predators- 4-and -2 legged along with cars, etc.
I found my cat outside as a stray, he likes being outside but I will never let him wander.
