The Neverhood's wonderfully told creation myth reminds me a little bit of the story about how the Fyllid's floating islands came to be from Sacrifice's game manual. (Fitting, considering that Sacrifice was a Shiny Entertainment game, and The Neverhood's creator worked on Earthworm Jim for Shiny).It would've been awesome if Sacrifice had disk players like this one which told of how the Creator of the Fyllid was killed by the Fallen One, how the five gods emerged and first fought each other, and what the full story was about Eldred's despotic rule on Jhera and how he summoned Marduk. It would've been awesome to see a Sacrifice game which was made claymation like The Neverhood.

What I read so far reminds me a lot of Stanislaw Lem's sci-fi short story collections, like The Cyberiad and The Star Diaries, which also incorporated humor and intricate mythology. I'm wondering if the Hall of Records ever explain why the Crowns of Quater corrupt wearers who weren't meant to wear the crown. In a way, Klogg's story seems to mirror the pride and negligence of some Hoborg's brothers (and I think one brother looked rather Klogg-like). Just talking about it is now making me think how awesome it would be if Sacrifice had its own equivalent of a Hall of Records as well as the disk players.
If you gave a closer look at the story in the "Hall of Records" you should know. Willie is from another planet, which broke into few small parts, that went floating through the space. Willie and Bil just happened to run into Neverhood. They saved Hoborg on top of that. Seriously, just go read the Hall of Records. Its awesome! (and inspired after Bible)

Wait a minute, hoborg is the creator of the *WHOLE* neverhood, and the first being to ever exist in the neverhood (except hoborg) is klogg. So why did Willie just pop into existence at 4:38 ?!
First there was the Father. The Father created Quater, who in turn forged 7 crowns for seven beings he created for the Father's approval. Those beings were Ogdilla, Bertbert, Numeron, Ottoborg, Homen, Hoborg, and Arven. It was Ottoborg that created Willie Trombone and Robot Bil (among other beings) but he did not have the foresight to have blessed his world with gravity so his beings scattered off into space. Hoborg was given a whole bunch of clay to create with, but it would only last for a few hundred years. So he wanted to collect Klay of the Highest Quality so his neighborhood - The Overhood - would last forever. It was while on a 20 year journey to do so that he encountered and befriended Willie and Bil. Together, they gathered enough Klay to make his Overhood and about a thousand beings but they were attacked by a hungry Tickberger and fed it enough of the Klay that it would stop bothering them. When they finally got away they returned to the scale model. Hoborg was left with only enough Klay to make about 20 beings who would populate the model - dubbed the Everhood - and he did not want to force his beings to love and respect him, so he made them with the ability to choose right and wrong. And unfortunately the first one - Klogg - chooses bad, steals the crown, and stops the creation giving rise to the Neverhood (and attempts to corrupt Hoborg's second creation, Klaymen, to cement this victory)
If Willy put's the crown on the Hoborg,The Klogg will see him and catch him :D.But The Hoborg will be alive...But this game can't exist whitout this part of game :D

Whatever Klogg is, Klogg betrayed him and stoled his crown (that apparently is like his heart or something) Then when Klogg putted the crown on his head he becamed... Whatever he is now. I never really got to finish this game. Windows 8 got rid of the Xp virtual machine. So i have no clue how to run it now unless I buy the Japanese Psx and the Japanese version.

Willies chunk had his red roofed house on it. While flying pants the neverhood Hoborge removed his belt to lasso Willies chunk of land but doing so made his chest split open. Willie quickly jumped down and tied the belt around Hoborge again and saved his life. Hoborge rewarded him a permanent home in the Neverhood
Here's a quick question, Why would Klogg toss the crown aside? You'd think after all the time he spent thinking about how to get it, he'd want to wear it all the time. Just somethin' I've wondered.
