Considering Aunt Liz could not stand her husbands nieces and nephews in the past. Suddenly she worries about non blood relatives. Harding Lemay replaced the her with their real grandmother who should have never been killed off
@@dennisdonoghue9202their “real” grandmother wouldn’t have been killed off had the actress who played her been professional, learned her lines and played the story given to her. She refused and she was appropriately let go. Irene Dailey and Connie Ford acted circles around her and were both better at playing a family matriarch.
@@anthonyaustin3370 I've seen some fans who watched at the time mention that she never had problems with her lines. Either way, I do think they should have kept her around a few more years at least.
@@kengeorgejones6855 That’s your opinion and that’s fine. I watched the show every day from the 60s to the 80s and never found the actress or the character too essential.Mary was nothing but a recap character, and the actress didn’t want to play anything but that. Ada and Liz were more substantial to the drama.
My gosh the Sportscoat on Chris ..😂😂
Thanks. How nice of Chris to wear such a patriotic jacket for July.
Aunt Liz on the warpath...any moment now.
:)
@@arianatheearlydays767Nice to see Liz came back in 1987
It screams 1975. Thought I think it tapped in June ??
I mean seriously. Make-out session on Grandpa Matthews' sofa! That was the '70s for ya!
Life was simpler then.
Life was simplier then.
Now Liz!😂
Classic Aunt Liz, I love the expression on her face when she spots Chris and Marianne kissing.
I love how she just stands in front of them to eavesdrop. Can't Marianne see her?
