  • We're in Panto season so why not walk through the street where London's most famous Mayor lived. We're near the River Thames and the course of the River Walbrook between Upper Thames Street and Cannon Street. We look at the famous City church associated with Whittington and some of the surrounding areas like Queen Street Place and Cloak Lane. The end of the walk is close to Cannon Street Station and the course of the River Walbrook where the churchyard of St John the Baptist Upon Walkbrook once stood and gave way to the Circle and District lines.
