What an excellent tutorial! I'm starting back up again after a 30 year hiatus and had forgotten just about everything. Your video makes a great resource for getting started. Thanks so much.
Love that you put. "You can do this " at the end of your video. very encouraging!😊💗
I just did all of these stitches for the first time and they came out great! thank you!
Judith Villanueva meeee too
Очень красиво
👍 thank you 🙏
This is the most entertaining video I have seen. I have recently learned cross stitch out of remembering learning embroidery when I was in elementary school, and watching this video, I can go OMG I get IT! I just GET IT!
I really like this video as it goes at a nice steady pace. I am new to embroidery so I will keep watching this video and make a sampler of my own. Many thanks for putting this video on RUclips!
Many thanks for putting this video's thank a lot

I really want to study fashion design but my parents won’t let me. Based on the designs that I’ve been doing, the most common design that I use is embroideries that’s why I am trying to learn it so that even though I am not enrolled in fashion school, i can still at least enhance my skills in this. Love your videos! Thank you so much💜
Girl, you do you! It's your future, if you want to study fashion design, do it! If that is what makes you happy, it's the right thing! You go hun, I believe in you!
eleamrsk_ thank you so much for this🥺 have a great day!
@@ohmyglossy You're welcome! Thank you, you too!🥰
If you want to study fashion, do it. I understand wanting to please parents. BUT - There are 2 things that happen on someones death bed. Blessings get counted, and so do regrets. Do not waste your whole future on what feels comfortable for other people. Or you'll wonder towards the end of life if you really lived FOR YOU. Or you could just have a mid life crisis realize you never chased your dreams and freak out. Do yourself a favor, do what feels right for you right now and never stop. Live life on your terms, chase your dreams. Thats the best gift you can give yourself and the world. Especially if you wanna create a petite size clothing line, than i for one would be eternally grateful. Do you, always, and unapologetically.
This is my always "go to video". The best angle, views, slow enough to grasp, pattern stays in good location n doesn't fall to the bottom of screen.
For beginners and others too, I think your entire presentation is right on point. You did it so we can observe without frustration , without jerky motions as well. I just wish it was a bit longer on each stitch but I think it's because I'm temporally with a learning curve. I'm ready for more stitches. Great work! Ty

embroidery in itself is a very old craft and I love it... I am just starting (again) and this is like a refresher course because I started some 17 years ago when I found out that I was to be an aunt. but I stopped shortly after... time to start again thank you so much... your so talented!

going to be on a train for 18 hours, plan to pick back up on embroidery
this was a great refresher!
My grandma tried to teach me when I was little, I just didn’t have the patience.. now I’m wanting to pick it back up as a hobby and really learn. Let’s see if I get any better this time around lol.
Same too busy as a teen in the 80's to learn from my Grandmother. Girls need these skills, so many lost arts both for boys and girls.
I really appreciate seeing a "lefty" embroider. It's so much easier to follow. Thanks!
Thank you, these stitches look like fun. I'm looking to incorporate hand embroidery with bead embroidery on stiff felt. 🙂
I had learnt all these, my mom taught me. I even created beautiful hankies, during my summer vacations. My mom had a full file of her schooldays, stencils, samples etc. I feel nostalgic.
I am new to embroidery and was searching for different types of stitches and this is the best video ever. You have taught the stitches so easily. Thank you
👏👏👏
As someone who is new to sewing plushies and can't get out for now, I discovered that I do the the embroidery items in my house, sure embroidery eyes and stuff would look better than plastic eyes!

Great video! I am considering learning embroidery. I wanted to watch some videos before buying the supplies. With your videos, I think I’ll be able to.
I want to make embroider on some handkerchiefs for my best friends. They have done so much for me.
Awesome! Quick and to the point thank you!!!! I just started sewing and want to embroider my grandsons name on stuff I make and this is perfect.
U have no idea how good u r and how awesomely u teach everything so neatly. MASHAA ALLAH

Hon you are awesome ❤️ thank you for this video..I wanted to pick up this hobby as a relaxing way to help me cope with anxiety but I got a bit overwhelmed with all the different stitches and was afraid I couldn't do it..you helped ease my fears ☺️ thank you! ☺️🤗
When the video started, I thought, "I wish it had a voice-over instead of just instructions on screen." By the time the music came around for the third or fourth time, I sure was happy I could mute it and not miss out on instructions!
Yea am saying ..... I wanted the voice too
@@Theyluvvrisha haha same but they did it slow enough that you could catch on i just listened to my own music and muted it
Love the simplistic approach. Like no voice. Makes it easy to focus on stitches

Yo after hours on the net I finally found what I was looking for in such an easy and beautiful format. Thank you!
chain stich was given to done by my teacher today. ...next time I could do all. ..VERY HELPFUL FOR BEGINNERS. ..THANKS A LOT
So excited to find tutorials by a left handed person! I've been doing an online embroidery class, but the teacher is right handed, so I've had trouble figuring out some of the stitches. It really helps to see how another lefty does it!
I learned this during quarantaine , this is how i'm going to present personal gifts, home decor, express myself from now on.
How's your embroidery going? =)
@@alixtheprofessionalcatherd6850 Very well thank you, i'm committed to one lesson a week.
@@auremybenamor That is good to hear. It's the one thing I've kept committed to this year, and it's a good distraction when I'm overthinking or not feeling good.
Hope this year is a positive one for you =)

Thank you so much for making this video! Today, I made my first embroidery stitch: a lazy daisy. It truly is fun and easy. Can't wait to make more things. Thanks again!! :)
Yes handmade projects are sooo relaxing to watch . i love this video. Me and my mom loves watching this kind of videos 😊
This video is a great resource for beginners who want to learn basic hand embroidery stitches. The instructor explains each stitch clearly and demonstrates them on the fabric, making it easy to follow along. The finished embroidery pieces are beautiful and inspiring, and I would love to see more tutorials like this on the channel. If you're new to embroidery or looking to brush up on your skills, I highly recommend subscribing to this channel!
Glad it was helpful!
I am interested in hand embroidery & just ordered a couple of beginner kits. Been on RUclips trying to learn about the stitches & this is the best one so far. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the tutorial, I am teaching my 8 year old son to sew 🧵 during quarantine 😊
I saw this at school last SY! This was a great helping-hand because it was easy (but tricky) 🤗🤗🤗
Edit: OMG THANK YOU FOR THE ❤!!!
🤗
watching this gave me vivid memories of my junior high school days in home ec class, and I seem to miss these things

Here because I suck at doing even stiches and I'm just at "running stich" and wow IQ over 9000. All this time sewing patches and doing this method has never crossed my mind. Thank you!

this will be great for adding sigils and runes to clothes! Thank you!

This is so unbelievably helpful and so beautifully filmed! Thank you so much for all your hard work sharing these.
Your videos part 1 &2 for beginners are fantastic - so easy to follow and understand - thank you!! PS: You have beautiful hands.
That little line of encouragement at the end was really pleasant and much needed. Thank you!
My favourite part about this video is that it's simple and just gets straight to the point.
Did First few stitches with my 5 and 7yr old. Thanks! This is very helpful!
Beginning this at home for my new fashion clients.... Thank you Tube Professors and instructors.... This is very valuable work in the retail world with small production orders in a bulk packet of 10 pieces a designer or retailer can easily purchase at $24.99 per piece. @American Express Open Forum & American Express serve
All stiches are very easy but the seed stitch is so hard. Thanks for uploading this video.
I'm 60 yrs old I haven't done any embroidery since I was in high school. I thought I might give it try again. It's funny but once I started doing it it was like it all came back to me. All those years came back in a few stitches. I watch videos on RUclips and learned how to cross stitch so now I'm doing both during the winter months.
I'm thinking about starting a small business with embroidered clothes. Thank you for doing this.
Love your videos!! Im a fashion student and embroidery is something that i have wanted to do for so long but was always daunted by where to start.. your videos are so simple and informative!! Cant wait to get started.. Thank you 😊 Liked and subscribed

I’m gonna make a plushie and I plan to embroider all of the little details, this is really helpful! Thank you 💖
Very helpful to bigginers. . Thnx a lot ji.. I have started to learn. . Very interesting also. ..! 👍
There is something not clear to me, though: how do 'close' the stitch? I mean, what is the final step that makes sure that the thread stays in place?
lmao also why did they "like" the comment asking this question but not answer the question? so rude lol
Hey! End it like a normal knot at the behind, like how you would normally stitch and tie a knot at end to secure it. The difference is normal stitching may need 3-4 knots but embroidery thread needs only 1-2 knots. Hope this helps....
tuck in the thread on the back. once youre done, bring the needle under a few stitches just on the back threads so it doesnt go all the way through to the front. about 4/5 will secure it
As soon as you finish whatever stitch you were doing end it with a knot
U can make a double loop in the last stitch
Awesome tutorial! I can't wait to start cross-stitching. Thanks for the simple video and explaination of how a stitch can be used for a design.
I got trained because of you thank you so much
i knit and crotche but ive never did anything like this before. it looks cool and fun and easy to do so i do plan on doing this soon
Just so you don't get embarrassed later its spelled crochet ^v^ French spellings can be difficult.

these are great! Do you have a tutorial on how to 'end' a stitch once you've finished it? How do I secure a stitch?
Sara Bloom lock it

Yah lock your mom
Split the thread in two on the back and pull to tie a knot. Do that a couple times before cutting the extra off
You can do a double back stitch
