1 you can break previously checked chests so that when you see a chest you’ll know it’s not empty 2 use a salvaging station (you have it unlocked) to break down stuff into basic more useful materials 3 if you have unlocked a tier in something break down all previous tiers that should give you enough resources to replace it all with the highest tier without any problems 4 if you do this all you’ll save so much time and resources you’ll keep up with everything easily if not being way ahead on resources and exploration
dude super alloys are going to be incredibly useful, you need them for almost every major upgrade going forward. also iridium and uranium rods are going to be super useful and very scarce so keep those as well. and the rockets are super useful to get iridium and uranium. and they give a massive boost to your terraforming stats

I’m sure it’s been said in the comments, but the great thing about the jet pack is it allows you to climb pretty much any vertical surface. This allows you to basically scale walls, ships, etc…. Its an amazing tool! Awesome video Drae. I love this game. Bought it immediately after your first video of it and I’m addicted, and so is my son!!!
Hopefully Drae see’s this, but remember you have a recycling station you unlocked. So maybe you could put this uranium rods and stuff into it when you need more basic components.
Hey drae, the items that can go inside structures have a icon in their description, like the flower that have a plant icon go inside the structures with plant icon inside, so with this knowledge you can figure out what goes inside the reactor in the fallen ship.
@@inotcamper yeah thats honestly the best since the game has so much discovering and exploring to do. Its why I also didn't state the specific item/device and which needs to be increased in order to get it. The game only gets progressively cooler as you play, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how he sets things up and makes his world look at the end.

Hey Drae, here are some tips: do not miss advanced material (aluminum, super alloy, uranium and irridium) and seeds, you will need them. Also, you might want to consider storing all the space food, granted you will harvest vegetables but it takes time and energy so space food will be required. Try to upgrade your equipment first, then the game become much easier.
Hi Drae! Useful tip for you when you come to organise your loot. The storage lockers and creates have a black strip on them. Click it to type a label for your storage. Helps massively when you need to start storing more things. 👍

For the fusion reactor you have to finish terraforming the planet pretty much its also in the unlock computer. I've been playing as well after watching your videos and its so fun playing and watching you!
You don't need to carry so much food. Or any, really. Health drops very slowly; if you max out before leaving the base you will run out of inventory long before you start to get hungry.
I think why we all love seeing drae playing these games, is cause alot of us don't have the massive patience needed to get this far 😅 just like with the maple siroup lifestyle. Keep up the awesome work drae, these things are made for you! 😉
Drae, one thing I'll recommend for any enjoyment to completion, is not go absolutely bonkers picking up ore manually otherwise you're just gonna end up in a big grind trying to obtain certain ores that are required for crafting and such.... regretfully, which I did, so now I'm stuck in a grind where I'm just roaming the map for hours on end to get what I need.... often times I notice some ore does respawn on the opposite side of the map (from whatever location you're in) once in a blue moon.
The beacon you placed is in a aluminum zone. If you build an ore extractor it will get aluminum for you.. just got to remember to clean out its inventory so it can keep working. Loving the content, keep it up :)
Bought it 3 days ago, finished in a day and half (well over half completed, just waiting on the last unlock)... at least for the easy parts... once you've unlocked everything, the last thing to do is unlock the fusion reactor and plug them into the shipwrecks around the map which is rumored to open a set of sandgates
Drae, a fusion reactor takes hydrogen and fuses it together to release energy. Fission reactors are the ones that require fissile materials such as uranium. The one in the the ship is a fusion reactor so it needs hydrogen or another very light element
Can you do multiple oxygen tanks like in Subnautica?? Maybe you should try that since you have extra body space for right now. By the way, loving the videos on this game! Every time he says "I'm lost!", and you see the green beacon in the background... I think he's finally going to put two and two together and start using the damn beacons!!! But 6 times it's happened, and he's STILL not using beacons. His style of gameplay and storage is an OCDs nightmare. I would put blue beacons on top all of my bases. Green beacons at crash site entrances that need to be looted. Then change them to RED once they're completely looted. This way he'll have general red/green markers showing where he needs to go, and where he's already been. He's making me want to buy the game just for the sake of doing it right,lol. Not to mention how often he will drop water/food/oxygen to make inventory space, INSTEAD OF JUST _USING_ the water/food/oxygen... I don't consider myself a very smart person. But if their was a type of person to develope general gaming strategy, you'd think it would be him!
Hey Drae, if you can try building the Antenna and the Transmissions Screen for a little bit of lore, also don't worry about Grassspreader/biomass until you unlock/build Biodome/Biolab.
17min50 seconds is where aluminium lives on the floor around that dark area and there is a cliff not far from there which you can see from there that the super allow lives in about ground and theres also a cave not far from there full of iridium loving the series its an epic game love you drea
GG. A few not-so-spoiling spoilers to reduce the frustration. To power up the fusion reactors in the ships, you need to make your own first. And that is very late game. So it's going to be a while. When you do power them up, you can open the doors and get into other parts of the ships. The GPS T2 satellite doesn't do anything. The devs have gotten around to it yet. You need both the Map Screen and the GPS T1 satellite to see the map. It is a static map; no scrolling, no zoom, limited range. You will find various messages around the map. Look in the lower right corner; it has the year the message was sent. It's another clue.
The map is ridiculously big, and they are planning on expanding. There are a LOT of caves in hidden nook and crannies everywhere too >_> Not a spoiler but a helpful tip: you should build the launch platform and pay special attention to the specs of what it allows you to build, it's essential to progress but easy to miss
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ. the heater T2 at 15:30 that you looted from that wreck, you can go back in and it respawns. im sure thats broken and they will patch it when they find it but as far as i know the condition for the heater T2 to respawn is you go out of the wreck and a few steps away and then go back in and it will be there and you can keep disassembling it. i found it cuz i wasnt sure if i had looted it and went back in and noticed it was there and tried again and it was there again.

Hey Drea. Those crashed things by the spires/spikes there is mk 2 solar panels you can deconstruct and reconstruct. About 3 of them there if I recall correctly.
Helpful tips: the green area is the aluminum field. Iridium is mining out of the cave on the left side of the map. go out of your base and go towards the first big ship you fully looted today. once your back on level ground look left. you will see what looks like flowing dirt. walk into that cave. there is a wreck in the canyon( back left corner). ill post more tips if i can.
drae could also use the jetpack briefly in a quick burst when jumping from extreme heights that would give him fall damage to completely negate it i bet. certainly would be worth a shot
Okay. So I've been watching a few guides for the current version and the SHIP's fusion reactor is late game content. Check your terraforming index unlocks to see both meanings of that sentence. Glad to see you're setting up mini bases all around the map for oxygen refreshment and storage purposes though. That was bothering me for the last two episodes.

I personally just saved all the rods and rare resources I found early on. Ended up being pretty useful.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure the item in question is literally one of the very last things you can unlock in the current game.

Dont Wana Spoile anything but i recomend you build slightly nupwars as water will come into play...
Drae since you unlocked the recycler BP in a previous episode you can use that to recycle the Uranium rod into Uranium ore.
You should setup the communications antenna, the messages are useful and informative.
