*Some non-spoiler tips for Drae: (not all our mine)* -From Freewings21: Deconstructing will always give 100% of your materials back. -You can use mouse wheel to turn objects while placing them. -Important buildings/objects will become increasingly larger as they are upgraded in tiers (obviously). I'd recommend finding a decently flat and level ground above sea level to branch out your base like your launch pad. You will thank yourself later. -As you said in the video, ice will eventually melt due to the heating up of the planet. Water collectors will be very nice to store up fresh water in the future. -From Freewings21: Rockets give a permanent boost once you launch them so if your current progress to the next terraforming stage is slow try crafting some to speed it up. -The recycler can be very useful if you want to deconstruct something for its materials back including uranium/iridium rods. Finding one in the open is basically free 9 uranium/iridium ore. You can also craft rods to free up space if you have enough. -From Drako155Video: You can sort items in your storage and inventory by pressing the 4 boxes button in the upper left corner. -From Jtaviah Bass: You can name crates/lockers to keep things organized. _This just sums up most of the recommendations for Drae to see in one comment, feel free to reply NON-spoiler feedback/tips as well._
Due to the way the recycler works, it treats water bottles as a crafted item, meaning you can take water from an atmospheric collector and recycle it into ice (because that's the basic component for water in the game) even though ice is becoming more and more scarce. I don't know what entirely you'd need it for, but you can do that for ice if you really need it.
i know he said he’s avoiding the comments because of spoilers, but it’s getting annoying watching him never deconstruct things he’s not using anymore. 5:25 shows the problem, he thinks that once you place something, it’s resources aren’t able to be gotten back
You can deconstruct building for free and get 100% of the resources back also make the other 2 rockets they are extremely useful as they give a permanent 1000x bonus
@@idk_but_im_red 10x's but the in game description says "X 1000%" (which is the same thing). But who has time to do math when you're terraforming, am I right?
The mapping screen shows you the area around the mapping screen. So you gotta build other mapping screens in other areas to see them. T2 just zooms out a bit so you can see more.
Some tips for Drae here: You're gonna need a MUCH bigger base for all the stuff you'll unlock. The better terraforming/power units you desperately need to unlock take up a lot of space, and you need at least four or five to make significant progress through later stages. Second tip: If you haven't already, go exploring for mysterious ladders in the ground and a weird giant cylinder ship. There's some prime looting to do there and a little bit of lore if you care about that. Final tip for now: Build the Uranium and Iridium rockets IMMEDIATELY. They cause meteor events that spawn their respective resources and give MASSIVE boosts to heat and pressure production.
There is a golden chest on the left side of your pod at the giant rock wall. Inside the right side of the huge space ship, there is a room after going up a ladder and the left wall at the end of that room can be destroyed revealing a secret area with 3 more chests which one of them contains a tree seed.
Thx, drae because of you I bought this gem of a game. I can't stop playing it. I just got liquid water and right now I am working on lakes. The resource problem will get solved ones you get extractors. They are really good for getting aluminium by placing it in the aluminium hills. I also just got the grass spreader like you did.
"rain kinda worries me couse floods migth happen" your base is on the side of a mountain even if there are floods all the water would go down to your old base which is at lease 20 meters under ur current base also drae expand your god damn base so its not 1 wide

I always thought the concept of terraforming an entire planet would be interesting concept to have for a game so that way you can make it livable. only problem is, I'd probably be so enthused by it, all my other projects would be ignored like when I was playing BOTW I got no projects done for a month....I want to say I regret it but in a way I don't either lol
2 quick things - your parting shot, overlooking your base into the lands below, showed that your water has begun to collect down there. A tiny pool of water right in the middle of that basin. The other thing is that your map showed an entirely unexplored region, which you thought was the mine. That's actually an entirely new area that you'll have access too once the large walls of ice melt off. And just so you know, when your temp gets high enough those ice walls will not melt instantly. They will take time to melt enough for you to get past. A lot of people seem to get confused by this. So don't freak out when you reach the melting point and they aren't instantly gone.
