I’ve played so many matches against Danny with his Kinnan list. Not only Kinnan and this list is very strong, but Danny it’s an excellent pilot. Happy to see Irish Magic doing well in cEDH tournaments. Nice video.
Much agreed my friend, I have literally watched this whole video 20-25 times to learn about my new cedh Kinnan deck and I must say the majority of my knowledge I have gained about my new kinnan deck has came from this particular video. It would be amazing to get a chance to play some games online against you Danny. I could not ask for a better trainer, thank you again for your words of wisdom!!
There is so much happening in cEDH currently. Tournaments to look at and new commanders that are being spoiled. It never ends. And yes that is good. But I don't think I will be able to cover all my ideas. But yeah so much to do.
Devoted Druid + Mirage Mirror doesn’t really work. Putting the -1/-1 counters on it is a cost, so you can’t stack ~infinite activations of the untap without killing the Mirror while it’s a creature. Also, the copy effect doesn’t remove the counters.
Karn, living legacy plainswalker has a -1 that lets you pay any amount of colorless Mana and you can look at that many cards in your library can you get to put one in your hand it's a great outlet for that colorless Mana usually I go and get a chromatic array that lets me filter colorless Mana into colored Mana then I activate Kinnen a infinite amount of times get my urza flip my deck and win the game
Mirage mirror + Devoted Druid wouldn't work infinitely. The -1/-1 counter is a cost, so it's put on the mirror that's a copy of DD as you activate the mirror. Even if you stack it so that it becomes comes an artifact afterwards, it will die as a state based effect if you put 2 triggers on the stack.
Arguing Hullbreaker is a 3 card combo and therefor not worth it is kinda awkward tbh. Dramascepter is a 4 card combo. Kinnan + Basalth + Mana fixer is a 3 card combo. I don't hear complaints about those tho lol
@@cedhtv you don't HAVE to flip it. It's a you may; so given you're doing it as part of infinite mana outlet, it's not an issue. Real question is why no thassa oracle ? ._.
@@thedoctor1471 When you combo off you have infinte mana and your whole deck in your hand. Why exactly would you put a card like Oracle or Ballista in the deck then when you already have outlets like Finale or X Draw spells which are way more usefull BEFORE you can combo off AND serve as an outlet?
@@Winterhe4rt because sometimes having multiple outlet is good. Maybe you used Finale to tutor thrasios so it's no longer available? Maybe your infinite draw spell is locked by something? Also ballista wins out of infinite colourless, which is easy to achieve even by T2, so you can go for that pretty easily.
@@thedoctor1471 There ARE multiple outlets in the deck already... You can recur them as well. Like if you want to construct a scenario where everything is gone from the deck like.. sure why not construct then that Ballista is also gone? That kind of argumentation is just silly. Its easy: as an cEDH player you want all your cards to be useful at all stages of the game if possible. And if you don't need to use "useless" cards like Ballista or Thoracle then you are better off without them and use an outlet that has more uses in general.
copies don't retain counters, and because you're stacking the activations of the mirror, it becomes a new copy of the druid (with no counters on it) before it could "die" to the -1 counters
Playing Kinan in Cedh and French Duel Commander, and I agree on the Hullbreaker debate. Kinnan has one plan and one plan only, combo off and win, nothing else, we are very lean, and this card doesn't progress the gameplan. I am considering Oracle or Ballista instead for additional outlet to the main combo line.
Prismite is so underated with this deck. It's perfect infinite mana fixing for 2 using a single card and no tapping. Gemstone array does the same thing for 2 more.

Thank you. Danny was great in the video to. He really had some good things to say.

Man the amount of content you’ve been pumping out is insane great work as always

Watching that Mirage Mirror explanation was hilarious!
This deck hurts my brain, its a mash of diff combo lol
6:00 Flash + Hulk. Proceed to blink at your opponent who asked you to play it out. Hahaha
I play a Turbo Artifact brew! Some good additions for me here.
I use thassas oracle and walking ballista. Very reliable. Turn 2 is my fastest.

Oh damn yes your correct. I for some reason thought differently.
Stoked to make some of these changes to mine! Nice techs

Great video as always. Love your content. Was debating kinnan or thrasios. What do you recommend
In my opinion Thrasios with a cool partner like Tymna or smasher or bruse.
Would the hand at 28:10 not be
Land -> Mana Crypt > Arcane Signet > Kinnan > Mox Amber > Springleaf Drums?

My Kinney deck runs urza as a second commander to filter out the infint colorless mana.
Well done Danny 🙌
I play my kinnan deck super similar with a few edits. Crazy fast but super fragile. Stack decks crush this crazy efficiently
I've had the same experience playing against winota stax. It's terrible against that pairing. lmao
Grozoth is another card that I like for Kinnan turbo wins
Hey is there an updated list for this deck??
I think he updates it now and then.
why not timetwister?? besides of the cost?
what is Danny's last name where can I reference him?
Sorry I dont know.
Dumb question but why is there no walking ballista
dosent it just die if you flip into it? also I don't thknk you need it.

won't mirage mirror still die to the -1/-1 counters when it copies devoted druid?

Isn't this just a copy pasta of Pongo's kinnan house of mirror? Looks exactly like the version I copied from pongo ahahha
I actually don't know. I haven't looked at pongos deck in a while.
It is.
Well done Danny 🙌
