What a gorgeous garden you have, I especially love your spectacular planting of hostas! Seeing all the different colours and variegations together is just so, so beautiful, I love it.
I love the mix of different size hostas together it’s more interesting in the surprise aspect looks less commercial! It’s your garden everything is looking beautiful so love the saffron finch and I am not a petunia lover!
Beautiful garden and tour love variety. Heidi, I laughed at the hosta being divided multi times my family did the same thing I broke that pattern and did a patch work hosta garden way to many beautiful varieties need a bigger garden.
Love the hosta garden. I'm also trying to add different ones in my shady area. I did not label my hosta's either and now have a giant one and would love to know the name of it. It's probably been there five years and each year it gets bigger. Glad it's in a corner and can continue to take up that area. Had a smaller plant in front of it which is now hidden. Will have to transplant that one in the Fall. Thanks for taking us on your tours.
I love alstroemeria, had inca ice that did not make it here in my zone 5, was hoping to find it again☹️with no success (now I know why). Thanks for the heads up for next year 🤗🤗.
Looking forward to July 1, when all the RUclips gardeners begin sharing their 2025 plantings, as I’m always looking for more inspiration. Your supertunias at the beginning the the tour look dreamy!
Hi Heidi, your garden tour is amazing. Would you please tell me what are the plants names that you have on both sides of your Incrediball hydrangea at the end of this video? They are slightly tall with dark leaves and white flowers. They look really beautiful and very interesting. Would love to know the names. Thanks so much Heidi!
Your garden is too beautiful for words. I can't get a clematis to grow if my life depended on it. Yours are stunning, especially the mixed wall. I just have one question: I rely a lot on evergreens for winter interest. You don't seem to have a lot around your house and I wonder if there's a reason. Thank you for the beautiful stroll.
That is a good observation. There really is no reason besides that alot of evergreens take up a lot of space. I have a yellow thuja in the very back and a couple of Holly plants that I really haven't talked about because they haven't done much. I prefer to have my garden decor ( shed & bird houses) to give a splash of color in the winter and snow.
Absolutely beautiful! Love your garden tours! Question… what was the name of the red and yellow center flowers in the butterfly garden? You said it was a hummingbird favorite?

It is the Spigelia Little Red Head.
Hi Heidi, great garden tour! What is the name of the red and yellow native plant in your butterfly garden? Your garden looks awesome! Thanks
That is a Spigelia.
Love your garden! How do you keep the Deer away?
We do not have deer in this garden

Thanks for the beautiful tour. Are there any clematis that can take part shade?
Most can take part shade as long as it is 5 or so hours of good sun.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌿🌳💚
Do you cut the clematis back to the ground at the end of the season?
Yes we do trim to the ground at the end of the season. I do not pay attention to prune groups
How do you keep the deer from eating your hostas and hydrangeas?
We dont have them in our yard. You can use Bobbix or Plant Skydd
What was the name of the white clematis in the back yard? You said it, but I wasn't able to hear it...starts with an "H" I think? thanks
It is the Huldine clematis
