- Hello, dear friends!
Landon and I were surprised with SNOW this weekend- it hardly ever snows in Portland (the weather is consistently ~mild~), so even though it was less than an inch, we found it to be super magical ✨
In other news, it’s a bit of a scary time right now as we’re in the midst of a pandemic and you are not alone if you’re feeling the fear of the world. Some of us have severe health concerns and are worried for our loved ones, others have lost their job security, many don’t have home environments in which they feel comfortable or safe to stay inside- there are so many unforeseen side affects to the Coronavirus.
That being said, I want you to know that I care about you and am hoping for the very best whatever your circumstances. Perhaps it’s a bit imprudent to say that I care about you if I’ve never even met you but I really do. In the same way that so many of you have reached out to me and told me my videos bring you positivity and light- your comments and even the fact that you’re taking the time to watch my videos brings me the same amount of positivity and light.
You see, I’ve not been feeling very well mentally lately with everything that’s going on but so many of you have reached out to tell me I’ve helped you through the same feelings I’m currently feeling, and in turn, I feel better. Let’s never lose this magic ✨ I want my channel to always always always be a source of comfort to you. I hope to always provide light even in the darkest of times.

I like how you talk, such a calming voice. I've been trying to convince my in-laws who lives in a different state to stop big family gatherings and they just won't listen... I really don't understand why people would take such serious issue as if there's nothing going on. I feel so mentally tired. So thanks for the relaxing video, as always.
It's so difficult to try to convince people who would rather believe everything is fine and their actions don't matter. It's best just to focus on what you can do yourself and hope that they're inspired to do the same. Many well wishes to you and your family 💛

This video was very HYGGE, and i loved you heart to heart talk at the end. IT hasn't snow at all in my country and it actually weird. This video was so perfect, so timely and well-balanced in every way. It brought tears to my eyes in the end when you gave your heart to 💗. I'm so glad you have your family to get through this with. It's hard for children to understand the gravity of the situation but I don't think they need to. I think that what you're doing is the perfect way to go about it-- focus on love, light, and positivity with them, let them know that things are uncertain in the world, but what IS certain is that you have each other and will always be there fore them 💞🌻🦋

It was pre-packaged and from a local Asian grocery store (I'm not sure which kind though...super spicy!). Landon only had to the noodles and seasoning in water for 4min! He added tofu, zucchini, and onions for extra nutrients!

It's middle grade level, but a book I absolutely love is "Girl Online" by Zoe Sugg-- the protagonist was in a car crash and has extreme anxiety when traveling anywhere because of it. It's a very light-hearted read, super positive! It may be a comfort to you if it doesn't simplify things too much. I read it in a few hours.

I’ll have to look into them 😊 I made the ramen this week SO DELICIOUS 🤤I gave the recipe to my sister 😊 I also tried celestial seasons tea flavor Peppermint Peak. It’s the black tea with peppermint so it has a tiny bit of caffeine. Soooo goood. I remember you saying peppermint is your favorite 😊 I also love their Sugar cookie sleigh ride flavor it’s a holiday edition so it’s rare but oh. My. Goodness. It’s glorious 😋yes! I did listen to the great alone while in the hospital. It completely swept me away and really got me into the author Kristin Hannah since then I read the nightingale, home front, and winter garden all by her 😂 her books are like big pieces of cake -cozy. And just so emotional and real. I hope you and Landon and Roo are doing well this week during these crazy corona times! ❤️looking forward to your next video 😊❤️

Love the video. New subscriber here ❤️. I’m a recent graduate as well (I got and English BA) but I haven’t been able to find a job that utilizes my degree. Is it safe to assume you earned the same degree? Have you been able to utilize it at all?
looool. I relate to you SO much! I do indeed have a BA in English (and Spanish). I was obsessed with being perfect in school-- I stressed so much about assignments and exams. I sacrificed a lot and graduated number one in my class....and not a single person in the ~real~ world cares one bit. My degree hasn't helped me at all in finding work. I currently make videos for a living BUT in January, I also began to write copy for businesses as a freelance copy writer...so perhaps it wasn't all in vain after all. My big take away from this is to not take myself so seriously and to remember to have fun (also maybe to study something more practical if you can't afford college but want to go anyway). I know this response is a lot. Let me conclude in saying that I"m hopeful for you! Somehow, our degrees will be beneficial to us ✨
@@MorganLong Oh goodness it is SO nice to hear I'm not the only one. I am much like you. I wasn't first in my class but I graduated with Magna Cum Laude and it means absolutely nothing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and put a lot of pressure on myself to do extremely well much like you. I'm glad you found work as a copywriter! Do you feel that your degree prepared you for that job? Also, any tips for getting a copywriting job? It seems every writing job requires professional writing experience when, in reality, none of us graduates really have any beyond school. I love your channel and I am happy to see you've found success. Your channel is such a gem and I can't wait to binge-watch your old videos.
