- Hello, dear friends!
Welcome to a new type of video for me-- a week in my life! I'm grateful to have been given a lot of freelance work recently. It's kept me very busy this week and I feel accomplished going into the weekend! It also gave me the opportunity to take you behind the scenes to see the kind of freelance work I've been doing (once the ad content I was working on in this video is public, I'll share it in the description!).
I do hope you enjoy these happy highlights of my week. Thank you for giving me a reason to share them and for helping me to see the magic in my life 💛 I know these videos will be precious to me later (even more so than they already are).
EXTRA BIG thank you to those of you who sent me letters and gifts to my PO Box this week-- I felt absolutely over the moon when I checked and actually had mail! I'm going to always check my PO Box on Mondays now to give me something special to brighten up those days ✨

I miss thunderstorms too. I'm from Western Australia but moved to Ireland 5 years ago and we just don't get hard rain or thunderstorms here, at least not like the ones in W.A.

But there's one thing that I absolutely adore more than anything else, there are these little moments where you just sip on your beverage (I am guessing tea :P) and look around with a content and peaceful smile on your face and just be in the moment. I think everyone understands that ads and partnerships are part of RUclips, I think it's just about how it's done and how often. I think people react most when the advertised product has nothing to do with the video or when it's just happening often. Like a lot of RUclipsrs have a partnership with Audible and for me it would make sense to make a video about recommended audiobooks for that, but I haven't seen that yet.
Oh, it would be amazing if you had some drawing tutorials for your patreon. I want to learn to draw like you!

Hi, Rachael!! I've wanted to make a playlist for a while and it's something I've really looked into. I get all of my music from a licensing website called Artlist and unfortunately, the majority of the songs available there (and that I use) aren't available on Spotify or iTunes. I tried to make up for that in doing my 1hr Readathon. I'm planning another one too as I find more songs ✨
