- Hello, dear friends!
I hope you enjoy my evening routine-- I know it looks magical but the majority of that is thanks to the beauty of Portland, Oregon and our home. Keep in mind, I'm also filming and editing these scenes to be more like how I perceive the world. I wouldn't say its staged, but my nights certainly aren't always this whimsical. When it comes down to it, each night I simply do my best to get outside, eat wholesome food, relax, add a splash of productivity, and take good care of myself (& Landon & Roo). Your evening routine doesn't have to look anything like mine-- just try your best at making time to do the things you love even if it's just for 10 minutes each night. A little bit goes a very long way 🌱
I was fortunate enough to film this video before the wildfires started. It's been a week and a half since I've been able to step outside but it rained today and the air seems to be clearing! I'm very much looking forward to taking long walks under these ancient trees once more.

These days my night time routine after work is to eat dinner and then watch a couple of your videos, then read a book, then go to sleep. Your videos has definitely becoming a staple in my daily routine!

But, even with 2020 going on (it's a trainwreck haha), your videos still give me a sense of positivity and hope, which reminds me of this quote I saw somewhere: "Staying positive does not mean you are happy all the time. It means that even on hard days, you know that there are better ones coming".

I’m burnt out at work which means I procrastinate all things associated with getting ready for work, including showering. It’s to the point that I need to switch to evening showers because if I shower in the morning I will dally and self sabotage so much that I’m late for work. So I am so glad that your evening routine includes a shower, I will watch this every night to help me start a new habit of evening showers!
It’s sooo nice not having to shower in the mornings! I shower regularly, and I always enjoy it when I’m in the shower, but for whatever reason showering always seems like a chore I don’t want to do.
I hope that work becomes inspiring soon
