The combined forces of Hange Zoë's remaining Scouts and Theo Magath's remaining Warriors plan on escaping Paradis Island on the flying boat, which is kept in the Jaegerist occupied port. In order to do this, they need to prevent the flying boat's destruction by the Jaegerists and rescue the Azumabito family who are the only ones capable of servicing the aircraft.
Armin Arlelt and Conny Springer attempt this through a peaceful deception, pretending to need the flying boat in order to chase after the Cart and Armored Titans, but when Floch Forster decides it would be safer to eliminate the Azumabito, the combined group is forced into a battle. The Azumabito are guided to the basement by Mikasa Ackermann and others, where they can be protected while Annie Leonhart and Reiner Braun use their Titans to fight the Jaegerists. At the dock, Conny is forced to kill Daz and Samuel Linke-Jackson in order to save Armin's life and prevent the destruction of the flying boat.

Floch is not overdoing. The old military don't have any solution to the prevent or stop the invaders. They lost hope, eren and floch waited 10 months to accomplish since they planned. The soldiers lost trust in government and military so they supported floch and eren not because floch brainwashed them. Floch taking every thing to keep the island safe. Also, eren never in the midst of thousands of collosal titan and protect himself, and keep him safe. Eren is not a coward. just few episode before when marley comes in airships to paradise, eren didn't wait for anyone, he went to face hundreds of soldiers, armored titan, jaw titan, and cart titan.

Facttttss. Like i feel a lot of people are so easy to manipulate. The writer went 360 with the show showing worriors and marleyans like poor guys and eldians are bad. Flock is literally acting to protect the island, he and Eren understood that since erwin died the military became so shit. I like how conney and Jean couldn't finish riner back in season 3 even tho they didn't know anything about his motive. But ohhh he was our friend for few years:(((. Wtf?
Alex likes Floch, Sabina doesn't, but that what makes character great, when different people have completely different opiniona :)

Daz and Samuel were OG. Daz was that scared soldier that always looked scared and once disccused with Marco about levaing the army. Samuel was with Eren when the Colossal appeared for the second time and got injuried and saved by sasha.

As for the reason for Flok becoming such a person. In season 3, Flock already considered himself a dead man and therefore, when he survived his first battle, he was already a walking dead man, since he was mentally dead. In addition, he lost friends and comrades close to him and he had no one left. And when he tried to save Erwin and ultimately failed, he had no reason left to live. Like people stuck in the forest of their hatred and anger. Simply put, Flock represents a herd of people (that is, almost all people, since people cannot simply understand and forgive conflicts, grievances, etc.) who are stuck in a forest of hatred. Everyone expected that Armin would become like this and replace Erwin, in whose place he was saved. But no, it was Eren who became a worthy replacement for him, although as a tactician he is significantly inferior to him. But in terms of decisiveness, they are equivalent.

@@HoundsBane lmao why? Because i would choose my family and friends over the world who literally just declared war on us? Not like Eren and flock did this as soon as they knew about it. They gave other options 10 months and tried to find other solutions but no. The world wants them dead and the warriors are just slaves who enjoy obeying marlians.

@@MS-ip6vy i know but it might sound a bit childish but the war is declared by the government officials. There might be few people all over the world who hate eldians but half of the population might not even know eldians exist.
