The Durga 4 opens your tone up a bit and is a tad bit brighter. That being said, I prefer the Durga 4. Thanks for the comparison!

Many thanks Leno music for the Durga 3 and 4 review.
It s very difficult to ear the hudge difference between both mouthpieces. At this point, i think the reed can make the difference because the geometry of these two mouthpieces is not so significative. I know only the Durga 3...so

Low key that high note he hit at the 9:43 mark had me sold on the Durga 4 8* but I understand the Durga 3 8* is easier to play and is more versatile

Durga 4 considerably more "in your face", and possibly more suited for rock/fusion as compared to Durga 3. Then again, more of tone lies within your personal tone and embouchure.

Excellent review, Leno, great job! The mouthpieces do sound very similar! can you do a review of Tenor Durga 3 and 4 as well? I have been playing Tenor Durga 3 7* for a couple years, just bought a Durga 4 7*. They also are similar like your Altos, the tenor Durga 4 feels a little bigger, and the rails are thicker at tip!

Greetings from Greece. I have a question . I want to play mostly pop music with my saxophone and to use the upper octave key. I want to buy a durga but i don't know what tip opening would work better. A 7 or an 8 ? What is your advice as a saxophone teacher and player?

I play currently on TW Gaia 2 and tip is 7. It choking at loud volume a little bit, that's why I suggest tip 8
