does it get any more RAW than this????? LOL, I remember buying this record when it first came out. I cranked those speakers as loud as they'd go!
You guys don't understand - I was there that night (Dad was working in France). Name the 80s concert, I fought my way to the front row by the guitarist. I HAVE NEVER experienced anything like that. That wall of stacks was not for show, they were all turned on 10. It was like having your face behind a jet engine at takeoff. Not too many guys could control that at all, much less try to sing. Catching drumsticks bounced off the cymbals, he couldnt have been too wasted.
I could only imagine how LOUD Leslie West was in Concert!

I agree, in 1972, it was more you felt it than just hear it, like a nascar race. This rendition is no where near it.

One of my favorites, but what the ^#^$$;;#@ happened with West's singing here? He sputters & blurts out partial lines, off time!!! He was just so way much better than that. Substance problems?
its amazing how he changed from a poor shape in 1980 to a better shape in 1985. he added another 40 years to his life. maybe he'll get to do Woodstock's 80th
