Your backyard sanctuary looks so clean and cozy in the simplicity. What a great aesthetic hack on the back fence! Hopefully, the tarp doesn’t create too much moisture behind it. Definitely don’t want to rot the wood underneath it! Hey wallflower, just to save time… The next time you do the fence, get a bucket of outdoor bleach, water then get a car wash brush put it on the fence where the mold is building. Three minutes later rinse it off. You’ve just saved yourself an hour. It takes me less than five minutes to clean the whole back part of my fence.

I'm using what I have for the fall. I have so much that I've been only allowing myself to get more if a comparable item I had is no longer usable. My style is also pretty consistent and classic, so it helps that I don't have a lot of trendy decor pieces.

Love the backyard. I’ve been waiting to see what you would do but I knew your like me here in Texas and hiding from the weather. Great job. The new fence look good but I understand about it being an eyesore. When you get the funds or maybe a sponsor you could paint in a black or deep grey. That way it will recede into the back drop. It you plant some green plants next to it will really take on a different vibe. Just a suggestion.
