5:32, she was a MOM?! I didn't know she was a mom in the original comics. Damn, I always thought she was like..older than a teen who doesn't see anything in family at all until she's done everything completely but that was the 2K3 cartoon where she's just fine being Saki's daughter. 6:13, so I guess I was correct while I was watching the 2K3 cartoon's City At War. Some of the Elites WERE meant to die when she exclaimed 'SWEAR YOUR LOYALTY TO ME!' 7:12, why not rubber bullets? 7:29, Aztec warrior? Ok, this is getting weirder. 9:09, a.k.a Shattered Glass Shredder. Never thought I say that in a million years. Wait a what?! He looks like the 2k3 ver. 9:53, whaaaaa?! 12:37, also..she dresses up like Stryfe from X-Force. I guess the spirit of the amulet did have some hold over her.
9:08 This looks exactly like the 2003 Shredder suit. Mirage Comic readers, when did this issue come out? If it was before or after 2003, I feel like one medium influenced the other here.
The 2003 show influenced the Mirage comics a lot, because Peter Laird and some of the writers were involved in both. That story in particular is from Volume 4, which was contemporary of the 2003 cartoon. Have in mind I added the color in that illustration, the original was in black and white, but I decided to give it the same colors as the toy. For more context this was Oroku Yoshi, from an alternate universe.
I don’t know why they made the Shredder’s daughter in most other medias while it wasn’t really the case and I wonder would you do the 2014 version of her where she is a straight up villain
It's okay. I didn't include it here because it I didn't feel like it was connected to her story (the foot kind of accidentally ends up breaking their truce). I did cover it in the Casey Jones video.
There are lots of things I did not know about Karai until this video
Damn the comics are badass

when watching John Wick 4 that girl from the Japanese continental totally reminded me and gave off Karai vibes : )
Oh and one more thing, Karai's hairstyle reminds me a bit of Sailor Saturn. XD
Lore of Unveiling the original Karai - TMNT Comics! Momentum 100
Thanks for the amazing video ❤
Thanks for watching!
What do you think was going on with Karai during volume 4?
So I'm thinking...is she a single mom or has a husband who died, divorced or something? That's what I'd like to know.
@@ZZtheDark It was never revealed.

I may do something about the movie Karais. But I also plan to go over the Michael Bay movies in more detail.
I wish they developed shredder orroku nagi hamato yoshi tang shen baxter stockman gosei hattori & karai in the mirage comics more
I hate the Most Adaptations they Ommit Nagi Oroku.
@conradojavier7547 they combine him with saki to portray orroku saki as an incel.
These vids are awesome
Has karai ever been an anti hero?
This Karai? It depends on who you see her actions. She was always with the Foot, but she is very diplomatic, which sometimes works for the good guys.
Thoughts on tales #43?
