The A380F was originally part of the A380 campaign, however it did get dropped after electrical issues found in the PAX A380. Airbus lost millions on contracts with FedEx and UPS.

Another thing, Trying to remove the whole floor thing on the place and making it a bigger, larger cargo area could sacrifice the plane's structural integrity.

As a 747 geek i agree with these since the A380 was specifically designed for LARGE HAUL paasenger use, much like the 747-300 (the first 747 with a SUD).
Also i wanna point out that the 747 LAST IN PRODUCTION almost 40 years longer than the A380 not to mention the 747 was still in production when the last A380 was delivered to emirates in 2021 , THE VERY LAST 747 N863GT (delivered to ATLAS AIR) a 747-8F the 1574th 747 built was delivered on JAN 2023 ending nearly 55 years of production!
