Thank you Joe & Nicole for a wonderful video. I am disabled so can no longer travel 🧳 anywhere. I SEE THE WORLD THROUGH YOUR EYES. Bless you Joe and Nicole. Thank you ♥️
I need help too. I grew up in a town you visited and am in Target alot, no family close. Nobody real around. You have made meaning to my life and it's the first joy i have had. Become too weak, a good 30 surgeries. All family scarce now. I love you and don't care about anything but making other's lives easier and helping people get well. I can barely walk so it's wonderful but i cannot work and in pain. Lots of metal in me. But more heart and love and gratitude than words can say. Las niños de la cosa no tienen nada, y ellos no saben porque. I have suffered and cannot do anything but forgive. Lights on but nobody home in area 24/ 8 days/week. No tengo Instagram, nada, necesito ayuda. I love all people and beings and creatures, and the people of Mexico and south America are so dear to my heart. Be my hands. Touch the children and plant your feet in the sand and the salt and brackish water where I belong, and tell the beautiful fish i will be back. I never had a clue they "knew" me in this way. I'm guessing I have lost track of how many places i have been. I love you.
Barbara, I hear what you’re saying. That’s why I decided to keep myself busy and took up the hobby of learning how to cook different dishes from all over the world. Have to keep your body and your mind moving! 🤣😀🌹
This is another great example of how tourism is not so beneficial to the local people, most of the money going offshore and no investment in the local area. What you spent on that meal was a fifth of the median income for a month. No wonder they can't get staff and no wonder people want to go to the USA and other western countries.
Hi Joe & Nicole, I have been watching your channel for a long time and really love that yo take a deeper look into every place you visit. My wife and I spent five or six months every year traveling Mexico backroads in our motorhome for eight years after we retired. We loved our visit to Isla! That deserted hotel/resort you showed us was heavily damaged during construction by a hurricane which undermined some of the foundation and brought construction to a stop. Another thing about the uncompleted houses in Mexico. When you build a house you do not start paying property taxes until the construction is complete even though you are allowed to live in it, This gives an incentive to never actually "complete" your house and people get away with doing this for years. Again. I love your Road Trip and will continue to follow along! - Croft (Canada)
People also pay cash for construction a lot of the time, so they build on a little when they have the money. The area where you said you can see the poverty is actually a middle class neighborhood.

Another Great video! We've been to Cancun twice in the last two years, staying at the Riu Las Palace Americas both times, with a visit to isla Mujeres last year. It's cool to see how it is at night, as we were only on the island for a day trip. Really enjoy your other videos of small towns in the south, too!
Hello There Joe and Nic, I’m enjoying your travel videos. You’re doing a good job with statistics. I like your sense of humor. The way you two tease each other is funny and entertaining as well. Thank you.
Wow! Looks fabulous! Definitely want to visit someday! Food looked great! Beach looked awesome! Loved the boutique hotel! Thank you for the great video!
Enjoyable trip J and N, I can give an explanation as to why people want to come here to CA anyway. Salary there 450 month. Salary here 450 for 3 hrs of yard cleanup.
Plus take into account cost of living in relation to earnings. They’re in the middle of a tourist island so the wages mean you can’t afford shelter much less food or anything else
Great video Joe and Nic! My wife has been there many times, but I passed on those trips. Maybe next time, I will reconsider. Thanks for taking us along. Happy and fun travels!
Note no trash or garbage around streets are clean, Lots of colour , in the building, thanks for taking us along with you, You do a great job showing how people really live,
Another great video. For anybody familiar with the situation being less than ideal for the average person in Venezuela or Argentina, it makes infinite sense why they would work at that resort. PS Love how that 17 year-old vendor remarks he's single "for the ladies" :)
Great trip to Cancun with y’all . Very interesting ! Fox looked good! The beach was nice . Thanks for sharing safe travels can’t wait see upcoming trips! Love nic nails n suit

Thank you Joe and Nicole now I have seen this island thur your visit and now all the people, I want to visit this place and see those beautiful beachs and charm that I seen on the video, thank you
Great video guys. I’m sure y’all enjoyed it a lot. Beautiful place beautiful water. Beautiful weather. Considering it snowed here couple days ago. LoL keep filming I’ll keep watching. Looking forward to your back out west ones coming up. Safe travels my friends
Another great video. All the hallmarks are hit early in this one. The room is beautiful, the vistas are gorgeous, and the beach and water are fantastic. My wife wished she was there. It will be freeing tonight here in Central Texas in the hill country so we are firing up the wood stove. You have warmth that we miss this time of year. Even a cat to start it all off. Thanks again for your artfully crafted videos. The entertainment value is very good.
Another amazing video by Joe and Nic! As if it was even possible for them to be anything short of amazing. The beaches looked absolutely gorgeous and the food appeared to be totally delicious. Looks like an awesome place to visit and the island as a whole appears to offer quite an adventure. Will be looking forward to your next terrific video and can hardly wait for the trip to Hawaii. Until the next time stay safe and God bless. Steve in Oklahoma
Great episode Joe and Nic. It would be interesting to hear about the power reliability, plumbing, Internet and infrastructure in general. The island seem very low so probably not a great place for a surviving a hurricane.
Just got back from Isla Mujeres and ate at North Garden for breakfast three times in five days. Fernando is awesome! Didn’t get to see his flair bartending when I was there, so good to see it on your channel!
Thank you guys, well done.!!! Absolutely enjoyed this video, and the fact that you helped with the economy, since you ate in some many places, enjoy the food and was ok spending the $$$ and show us the beauty of the island, in Mexico. Beautiful couple.! Greetings from Tampa, Florida.
Thanks for another fantastic video. I was thinking of going to Mexico and your vid has given me such inspiration. I can fly directly to Cancun from where I am in Alberta, and am confident I would find a beautiful vacation destination at the end. Got back from Maui in November, the Hawaiians are pricing themselves out of the market. Again thanks for your videos and safe travels to you and Nicole.

We were here last month. It was so beautiful. I recognized most of the places you were at. The best food we happened upon on the island was called La Carbonera 22. When adventuring to the ruin area on the tip of the island, take a right at the crossroad following the 'ice' sculpture sign. You'll find it right across from the attraction. Have fun!
The reason you see so many unfinished buildings in Latin American countries including Mexico is they do not have the mortgage system we have in USA. So people will begin a project such as a home or store and work on it a number of years as the money is earned and becomes available to purchase supplies and pay contractors.
Delightful video. We went to Playa Del Carmen several years ago and took a boat over to Cozumel. It was sooooo rough that evening. Several people got sick. But we had a blast. They were having the carnival and they had a big parade going on. And yes, we found out that public restrooms were few and far between and cost money to use. Quite the racket.

We have mausoleums and above ground graves in Louisiana because of the issue with so much water in the ground there has been issues if we get too much rain fall unfortunately there has been times when graves have basically come up from the ground and been floating especially during hurricanes
I've been to the larger island of Cozumel ... twice and loved it. Reminded me of living on Grand Cayman Island in the mid-'90s (worked as a Scuba Instructor). Saludos, Steve
We've already bought an above ground cemetery vault here in Thailand. Most are covered with marble and some look like small chapels. The church does the entire funeral and even has a crematorium at the church if you want that. That was a fun trip.

I agree.
