whenyou pop their eye, its a huge risk. They can lose their eye when you pop it. Popping it can destroy their eye because it leaves scar tissue. The best way to treat popeye is with freshwater aquarium salt and frequent water changes

I have a parrot fish who has it in both eyes. I don't know if I can pull that off. I know you punctured the eye bubble, but how much tissue did you remove? Really interesting video. I may be forced to try this. My tank is treated, and I'm giving him Epsom salt baths. But that was wildly fascinating.
