- Put on a new rear tire while I wait for clutch parts. I put on a new Dunlop D404 front tire last year but the rear tire was due for a change. Maintained the final drive and other pieces of the rear tire while I had it off.
The Honda Magna was the first muscle bike that started a craze that has lasted for 40 years. Sporting a 90 degree V4 engine, Hydraulic Clutch, and shaft drive the Honda Magna was a direct attack on Harley. A cult following to this day the Honda Magna is a true classic that deserves more attention from the motorcycle world.

AWESOME, Thanks so very much for sharing that. I just got my new tire and shoes for my bike. I Love that technique with the ratchet strap. It is much better to fill the tire in your home garage. It is great Americans like YOU THAT HELP MAKE THINGS MUCH MORE PLEASANT TO WORK ON THIS STUFF AND SUCCEED. Thanks again for all you valuable TIME and SKILL. Peace out stay safe in all your riding.
Thank you for the wonderful comment, glad I can help. Stay safe and ride on!
Got to love a new pair of rubber shoes! What do you want to see next? With the magna almost back on the road for the season I might need to find another project....
Have you ever had a Shinko TM 230 on this magna instead of the D404's?
I have not run anything else than the D404. Though I am due for a new set, so I may need to do some research!
@@magnamole I have a d401 from Harley on the back and I will be putting that highly recommended tire on the front, people say it's better than the d404. I hope we can see your review of this tire!
@@navigator9905 Yeah D404 is getting outdated.
Awesome. I have a magna I am working on. Subscribed.
Thank you! What year magna do you have?

whats the reason for loosing the 3 nuts to put the wheel back on
If I recall correctly it is a procedure in the service manual to make sure the shaft drive is seated properly and engaged evenly.
Where do you get all your parts
I mainly use partzilla.com, partsgiant.com, and ebay. Partzilla is great because they have parts diagrams with things labeled. Parts Giant is only a couple hours from me so I can get the more generic stuff basically next day. Ebay for everything that you cant find new anymore or trying to stay cheap.
