what did they do to make it p2w all ive seen talked about so far is that the new 250$ package is how you get an official PvE mode that's "supposed" to be separate from the PvP loot wise
@@angelichero6236 There's a few perks like expanded pockets, an item that you can level Fence rep to make Scavs not aggro you from afar, and an item that you can use to summon friends mid raid. There's also more starting gear and now starting containers (Junkbox, Pistol Case, Weapon Case) plus Gamma in this version. Oh and also level 3 in all PMC skills.
In the grand scheme of things it's as P2W as EOD was in meta progression and then some. Expanded pockets do mean you can put some magazines in there without a rig.
@angelichero6236 you get an sos beacon that you can call your friends into a raid that's already ongoing to help you and scavs won't agro you if you're over 60m away. Seems pretty p2w imo

Honestly I played the mobile version and that even felt more comfortable to play than tarkov. I feel like with all the love they put into the mobile version this has to be good
Who the hell is playing in the gameplay trailers? I know in Tarkov there is a dichotomy of advertising it with super slow tactical gameplay, while in game some chads jump across doorways, side look, and jiggle peek rats to death.
Here the trailer player is just randomly jumping around in open areas and walking around dumb AI? At least try to have something consistent in marketing.

The best thing they could do to reduce the frustration with cheaters in an extraction shooter is what people have been yelling at BSG for years. Some form of refund system for gear. If you die to a cheater, once that cheater is banned you get an in game refund of your kit. Either the exact gear or at least the approximated value money.
So you arent as anoyed when dying to a cheater cause you know that you will get that gear back once the fucker is banned
That relies on detection, and if the detection was good you wouldn't have cheaters in the first place. What, you die, he gets banned a month later and you get refunded a couple guns and an armor 3 weeks before BSG takes all your shit with a wipe? Useless.

Tbh, I've been really waiting for this game to come to PC. I've always wanted a proper less hardcore tarkov experience
Hardcore is good, it's just that they keep adding overburdened mechanics for the sake of "hardcore," take a look at Hunt Showdown it's hardcore, but it's mechanics aren't over burdening.
I just like those kinds of games because they are hardcore,i'll still stay with Tarkov.
Finally, I've been waiting for this and I hope that it's optimized like the mobile version and it can gather more players that dont have a 3090 to play Tarkov with.

I play this on a s23 ultra on highest settings possible, ultra HD graphics and 120 fps, game looks AMAZING for a mobile, and seeing this video is exactly what I imagined it'd look like on PC. Hopefully they can optimize on PC just like phone to have the same experience
3090? Lol. I've been playing tarkov for ages with a 290X before upgrading, so your computer was caught lacking with things unrelated to not having a 3090 dude.
I agree, the inability to play casually in groups is killing Tarkov for me.
Also, I'm over the wipe system, I can 't be bothered to regrind over and over again.

6:50 I think if you ever get killed by a player who was caught cheating and was banned later at any time, you should get your gear lost at that time at any point in the future. Like a "gift box" that doesn't expire with all your lost gear in it. I'm sure you will get a few people exploiting the system for dupes, but a vast majority of the playerbase would benefit from it.

The constant sprinting and jumping is a bit of a turn off for me at first glance, but I’m looking forward to giving it a go. I’d like to see this succeed.
Jumping, sprinting all uses stamina so dont worry
The movement is definitely more arcade like when compared to Tarkov but the game is still hardcore nevertheless. At least on the mobile version the only movement you can do is bunny hopping but you are limited to hipfire when bunny hopping so its only useful in CQB. What will turn you off if how they are going to make money off the game as on mobile ammo plays a huge role in who wins gunfights, and ammo is conveniently expensive as fuck. Also secure cases cannot be obtained through quests but rather require a monthly subscription.
Also stamina limits your movement so its not like COD or something.
The guy in the video is probably using infinite health and stamina just to demonstrate the game, you can see at 7:41 his HP is still full even after taking a lot of shots

I know your whole channel is about realistic tactical shooters and I'm here for it but I'm also a big arena shooters person similar to cod and shatterline and xdefiant i would love to have some videos about stuff like that more often. love your integrity and honesty. Keep that up❤
Tencent Games owns this game and this company is worth 400 billion usd, Hopefully they are not as greedy as BSG.

game will probably be pay 2 win (would be skill to win but u would probably be able to buy guns with real life money , may have a sht ton of cartoon skins) these are the disadvantages , but the advantage is that its probably going to be a free game , if they have good anti cheat system and a better sound system them tarkov , this game might just hit it off.

I honestly think the lack of "quality of life" features is what makes tarkov so interesting. If people were waiting for more casual gameplay with 3d map markers and teammate/grenade icons they would've switched to one of the other Tarkov clones already.
Competitors focus too much on copying the gameplay loop and ignore the fact that tarkov is successful because it's essentially the only hardcore pvp shooter on the market that goes this in-depth and is somewhat polished.

I’m excited! But things I see from what you’re showing so far id like to see better audio, no grenade indicators, a little better animations, and most importantly smart and tactile AI which will up the entertainment factor. I’m sure they’ll touch on these things, but figure id still mention it 👌
OH! And a much more streamline intuitive pregame lobby as opposed to Tarkov’s where it takes forever in between raids

@@brucekhamp6859 the AI is pretty good, they push when you are healing, run away when they hear a grenade, atleast thats how the Elite bots on armory works

With a little bit of time I've got on the mobile version I can safely say I've had FUN; I'm all for an unrelenting, hardcore, tactical game like Tarkov but it's really hard to have fun in it if you're not organising your life around it

Look as a tarkov player I am pissed too, and i desperately want a tarkov replacement...im not some kind of fanboy here, but for me personally this gameplay isn't very appealing to me. My first thought is where tf is the stamina??? this guy is sprinting constantly... this looks more like a better version of the CoD extraction mode than a tactical fps. Game looks great in general so if you're hyped good for you! To me though I do not see these games as the same product.

I have been very hardcore in it ever since you first made a video on it. YOU are the person i blame for getting me to play games on my phone. While Tarkov is breaking my heart (new 250 dollar edition) and I'm a massive Tarkov player and fan, and I'm excited by these new games, Arena Breakout and Grey Zone and they seem to be looking to give Tarkov a run for it's money and they most certainly are punching up and looking at Tarkov and thinking to themselves we can do that better. My only concern about these games and a massive edge Tarkov has, is it's world. From day one BSG knew how to make Tarkov's setting, lore, maps, atmosphere, music, all of it is iconic in gaming in 2024. None of these new games match that energy of Tarkov's world, so it feels like these games have the right idea when it comes to it's mechanics and monetization, not repeating BSGs mistakes throughout the last 8 years but are lacking the flavor that Tarkov has and are just giving ooorah tacticool while Tarkov does give a world, lore and engaging reasoning for the intense struggle of playing it.
i can tell you these games are not going to last. The hype will be there, few weeks or months pass and they dead. Nothing ever will be like Tarkov.

Exactly. Arena Breakout for console. Console literally has no extraction shooters. Tarkov maybe can't run on console, but c'mon arena breakout definitely can. This is why I'm excited for Delta force Hawk ops to show a stash, inventory looting system can work for console like DayZ. Everybody vastly underestimates consoles. A controller's literally more comfortable to play on than a cellphone & wasd

Didn't they say multiple times over the years that they were against a PVE mode and did everything in their power to copyright strike and takedown all the modders who made single player tarkov? Sometimes all you have to do is the same thing but better. And realistically that's the only way to move audiences from one game to another especially in the looter-shooter genre where every game plays pretty much the same.
i think the only thing that arena breakout differs is in the weapon physics/“realistic” elements, arena breakout is more “arcade” like in comparison to tarkov but i think that makes it better due to the skill gap being a tiny bit less. But it could also be a cashgrab due to the skin system they want to put in. also i got too many hours on arena breakout so i feel like i can speak on it.

I'd play it alot more on mobile if it had controller support for a Kishi/Backbone. It's the most immserive way to game on your phone, idk why devs hesitate to add in compatibility.
They haven't worked on controller support alot because it isnt in their main focus.

I was facing a hacker in a match and for some reason they froze midgame.
turns out he got banned 5 minutes in.
The need to have a RTX 2060 Super MINIMUM is kinda crazy, though these requirements weren’t exactly tested

Just speculation but I think it's just the recommended minimum because it might have ray tracing on the get go. Since the Chinese client of the mobile version of the game already supports ray tracing(for some reason).
So I think they're also planning to have ray tracing on the get go for the PC client.

@3:05 you know you dont mean that completely lol Although these new extraction shooters took notes from Tarkov, non of these new games are splitting images of tarkov and provide a different expereince than Tarkov which imo doesn't necessarily compete side to side because they offer different gameplay. You know you're still gonna jump on Tarkov after playing this enough :P
This is by far the best shooter game ive played on mobile. And the best part? The devs actually listens to the community and fight hard against cheaters.

The anti-cheat is SERIOUS. On the mobile version reports made during a match get dealt with on the same day: and the discord does a monthly report showing the THOUSANDS and thousands of reports of cheating, griefing, stealing loot, etc. You guys are in good hands
I love arena breakout on mobile. Very fun game and runs very well on my iPhone 13

Noice, as a time waster, the phone version wasn't terrible. Smaller screens are better for control purposes, but the game was OK. I would love to try this. I actually can't wait to check it out.

Played the mobile version of this and im pumped
Finally, i loved playing on my phone but wanted to feel more immersed so i bought a tablet. That was fun until you start playing against the gods of mobile games.
Some of these mobile gamers are cranked and would definitely out rank lots of pc gamers. I want a casual experiences on but still have it be fun. Every now and then its fun until the tryhards come online.
So i am glad that this is coming to pc.
I still love and play Arena Breakout on my tablet such a fun game. Recently not too long ago i found out about gyroscope aim and man has that improved my gameplay experience.
