In Super Mario World, everytime you land a hit on Bowser, the Clown Car would shed a teardrop. It's likely the Clown Car was gonna function the same in Super Mario Maker when the enemy controlling the Clown Car was hit.
Actually, the 300% might be used, as there is a little animation where if you give an enemy a mushroom while already big, it grows even more, but then shrinks back down, spitting the mushroom out.
Interesting that the Mario maker series is so closely linked with splatoon, because not only were there a bunch of unused splatoon models in the first game, now that Mario maker 2 is out I think you’ll notice some... familiar code names in the job listings :)
super mario maker 2 was supposed to be just super mario maker 1 but extended with the major thing being adding things requested by fans, but the developers added so much things to it that they turned the game into a sequel, the code name for super mario maker 2 is even "slopes" which was a high requested features by fans and was even one of the major focus in one of the first trailers for the game.
I think the first update should be Speech Boxes for all styles (Allowing for makers to put comments and hints in a box, Just like super Mario world had one in its game!) And some other things, Night themes for SM3DW! World Creation (Being able to make courses and add them to your worlds. And being able to make a “Mario Game” Which holds all the Worlds you make, You could also publish your games to course world.) Sloped Pipes (For maybe NSMB.U and other games with those sloped pipes)
I got my copy of Super Mario Maker 2 that included the 1 year Nintendo Switch Online service for only $50. Edit: It was actually $53, but it was close. I did get the game because an error occurred while I was buying the game. It had the $60 price tag like the other copies, but the item read as $70. After some time had passed, the cashier fixed the problem and let the $60 tag be the one. The other reason was there was a coupon where if I buy between $50-$100, it would be $10 off. Am I lucky or what? Those two things allowed it to be $20 off.

That Nikki was there because in the event courses there is a Picture or Thumbnail and a description of the level you enter. This was a Unused and Prototype version of the one we see in the game. It was made on the 3DS which meant that they planned it on the 3DS which came eventually and since you can't get Event courses in 3DS Mario Maker then that was leftover in the Files. Your welcome.
The MarioUS costume was brought back in super mario maker 2 in the form of the 3rd special powerup for the SMB style and lets you ride enemies, pick enemies up and do a tall jump

I think you forgot the Mario sounds you can get if your lucky when you fall in a pit. It's basically Mario screaming and what sounds like crashing or more falling. And cheep cheep sounds I think. It's a very rare audio to get but if your lucky you get Mario screaming. I remember before Super Mario Maker 2 came out I was scared to death of this because it made it feel like a horror game.
It's interesting that there are a few Splatoon files in the first game... In Mario Maker 2's story mode, a couple of Splatoon sound effects are actually used!
In the Arcade Bunny's game he can turn buff for some reason. Maybe it's just to show off? Anyways, the unused voice for this lad is his regular voice and his used voice is his buff voice.
There's a superball, and there's also an airhorn from the Koopa Car (in super mario maker 2) Let's not forget that, in both, the edge of the endscreen sprite in super mario 3 is way more HD than it needs to be. This is obvious.
