John’s Pass Madeira Beach side! A fishing Mecca! I grew up in Seminole Florida and my family owned Thunder Marine Services on 95th Street twice going back to 1990. I know these waters like the back of my hand and the fishing around this area is straight up 🔥!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Used to fish the docks at GATORS late night because they were lit up and pull out massive snook. I mean massive. Biggest one we ever caught was 44 inches and weighed 32 pounds caught with a huge pinfish!!!!! Great memories.
I've caught some over 40" Snook on the beach in front of the sea wall on the Treasure Island side. Big ones that try and run you into the channel. Put up a massive fight with that tide.
Parking is so expensive! Whipping out the e-bike next time. You’ll like the e-bike! You should take it to Robinson preserve. 🔥 spot for fishing and sick trails. You’ll need the e-bike to get to spots 🥂
I wish you put the name where you are fishing so people from others state know where to go when come to Florida I see many videos say fishing in florida but really florida is big so it will help to decide where to go when someone planning a fishing trip anyway nice video thanks to put it in there for those who love fishing
How long were you making youtube videos till you decided to do it full time and is it better to download the vids on a computer my phone doesn’t wana do it sometimes
Never caught Pompano before, went to Florida a few times and try to exploring on my own but no luck. Any tips or what part of Florida I should be fishing? TIA 🙏🏽
Hey Thonny, I just want to let you know that I used your Amazon Link for your favorite rod and instead of sending me that Rod you are using in this video, they sent me some 2 piece POS 60: rod. Looked like a ice fishing rod. LOL, not blaming you at all but while the link takes you on Amazon and shows the rod, what they shipped me was not correct. I returned it. Just thought you should have that feedback. Thanks though.
Like this comment if you love pompano fishing!
Oh yeah for sure!! Let’s link up. I’m in Sarasota
Really did enjoy this video especially by the rocks😊😊
Hey thonny really good really did enjoy it good job buddy 👍💪😊

John's Pass South side
My boy thonny crushed em. By the way they are popping up on long key bridge in keys Floridda. Were in a slght cold front now
That’s insane!! Never thought they’d be down there. Good to know 👊
Any size to them?
@Thonny over 15 inches .. . It's one spot I can email you it's pretty decent for collecting over 50 crabs for sheepheads on a low tide
That last spot in your video is one of my favorite places on earth. Cant wait until they get that pier fixed and we can do the pompano shuffle again
Was that officer with FWC? "What is this fish?" 🤣

What weight jig do you use the most? I live in NC and I want to give it a try. I never see them in tackle shops and never see anyone using them.
3/8th!
Nice video.. I couldn't find 3/4 or 1oz jigs anywhere? Can you please tell me where to buy them?

@@Thonny awesome appreciate it hopefully we can meet up and collaborate that would be fantastic
They hitting at John's already?
No
Where was the last place you were fishing? Where do you buy your Pompano jigs?
I'd love to catch some pompano. Do you use any type of bait, or just the pompano jigs with trailer?
Never caught Pompano before, went to Florida a few times and try to exploring on my own but no luck. Any tips or what part of Florida I should be fishing? TIA 🙏🏽

Sorry about that man! I just fixed the link. Apparently they sold out of the 7ft ML action so I added the 7’2 ML solid rod as well!
Been getting skunked, I think Saturday should be the day. What color combo do you suggest, especially early in the season like now?
I switch it up! Typically I just use chartreuse jig with pink teaser! Or yellow jig with chartreuse teaser.
Thanks man! I’m definitely gonna put that work in at my pompano spot. Good luck this weekend.
How long does the season last?
Will be there at end of March
Why dont you tell about the illegal ones when you got your trespassing warning?
That place is too expensive to park 😅
👍🏼💪🏾🐟🐟
do you regret getting rid of your boat?
Oh yeah! That was a good boat!! Planning on getting one in the near future
Nice catch. What jetty and location is this?
ikyyk
