Thank you Thonny for a great day of Pompano fishing. It was a pleasure sharing the boat with you and I look forward to showing you the Mosquito Lagoon one day soon.
Good video as usual. Was out at pass a grill at the point, it was nice to see that they reopened the end of the pier up. I assume they fix whatever underneath it, even though I never saw or heard of anybody going underneath there to fix anything. Interesting. Just glad to have it open again. Water was really dirty, tide was ripping and the wind was miserable today. Lol
@@Thonny yeah don't worry about it. Once summer comes right around late June through August there won't be any wind and it'll be 98° with 100% humidity. Even at night it's uncomfortable to fish lol
Hey Thonny, I’m heading out there 1st week of May and I plan on fishing some of the jetties in Panama City Beach. Do you know of any local spots that have success for reds, sheepshead, and speckled trout during that time of the year?
@@Thonny oh yeah, had a good session lately thick pomps all day, working on video. Indian shores was fire. But as we know it one day they here and second day they're not.
Damn!!! That dolphin scared the crap out of mr the way it came on up out of nowhere. Hope they don't scare all the Pomps away. Or the Fishermen, Ha Ha.
Yea, Dolphins have evolved to know that when the white bottom boats come, there will be some easy snacks for the taking. I bet they can hear the pomps scream when they get hooked. It's as if someone is ringing the dinnertime bell.
🌴 hey thon , did ya get another boat ? That looks like the spot you caught all those Bonita before, how deep is it there ? Any bait around ? Great pomp action !
First, you finally got your boat back? Second, you guys crushed it that day! Third, can you report the condition (water temperature, incoming/out going tide, wind speed and direction (you said Northeast?) on that day? Thanks!
No that’s Robert’s boat. It was blowing 12knts out of the east that day, the water was coming in. Couldn’t remember the water temp I wanna say it was 68 or so definitely not 70

I fish in Tampa bay! I don’t know any good spots in Panama City
Thonny. What set up were you using? I love the sound of that reel. Was that a Shimano rod?
They've been starting to run beaches too , best time of the year is coming for Pompano, nice catching 👊
Good to see! Are there any size to them on the beach?

Awesome video great fishing 🥰🤗👋👍🎣🐟🐠
Thank you!
Do Pomps go away in the summer?
Not in the Tampa area, last summer was much better Pompano bite here than spring. You can catch them all year , some months obviously being slower.
@inappropriateangler I gotta give it a try
You can catch them year round. Just got to find them! 💪
I’m local would love to fish with u
Sweeet!!!
That boat looks just like an Action Craft if it isn’t one.
I think it’s a hewes or Maverick
I retract that it’s a hell bay after watching the full video
It’s a hells bay marquesa
first
Prefer a video that teaches me something. Timing, structure, locations, etc. Just watching you catch fish doesn't help me much.
