The "T" of the Gulf pier is snapper heaven. I just scale and gut them, then chop off the heads and make few vertical slashes. Then off to the corn meal and frying pan. Less wasted meat that way because the snappers are small. The dolphin are terrible right now. Thanks for another great video.
Excellent adventure! I always love your cinematic intros. The fish looks delicious. I didn't like Old Bay seasoning on pan seared fish, but I've never tried it with a fried recipe like that. Keep them coming!
Excellent Thonny! I will share a funny with you, considering the fact that you are cooking these fish on the pier. I was a tournament bass fisherman for years. Tournament bass guys are so protective of the bass and they always practice catch and release. As a spoof, I always thought about bringing some Crappie or bluegill fillets with me to the bass tournament, and on the afternoon of the last practice, while all of the boats were pulling in from the practice, I was going to be frying up those fillets at the ramp and telling my competitors that those were the bass I had caught that day. 😀
Still love the collaborations. We just had red snapper weekend over here on the Atlantic side. Mangos are just as good if not better AND you don't have to spend a $150 on gas!

🌴 hey y’all, this colab was great , it 😮was nice of you to get lunch for flipper 👈🏼 the little bastard ! 😂 Kelsey has the magic new set up that new rod and reel are going to get a work out ( the purple beast 👍🏼) , it’s been hotter than heck out got roasted over by terra verde yesterday dodging the rain caught all under sized fish missed a big one , on shrimp , having some shade at the pier helps , are you getting another boat ?
@@Thonny , the kayak will get you into the back waters were nobody else fish’s, might have to get one for Kelsey, today was a good day! I just got registration for my project nano flats skiff , I can start changing it around and fixing it up , got a old 15 horse Johnson that’s getting rehabbed , and I’m searching to find an aluminum boat fab shop to make a poling platform, one of the big problems is the freak’n weather ( hot& rain ) gotta work on it outside 🥵 I’ll give ya the scoop on it next time I see ya !
I was on the pier Wednesday trying for the snapper by free lining cut threadfin & managed one nice spanish & that was it for me. Do you hire out for cooking on the pier......man that looks yummy!
