    Thanks... My daughter and I were able to remove a truck cover so it could be used to move some furniture and then reinstall the cover thanks to your video! We placed the cover on four 5 gallon buckets for the week it was removed.

    I bought a 2018 Honda Ridgeline with an ARE hard cover. It's looks so good on the truck. But yeah, I got a move some furniture next week so I watched this video to prepare myself to remove it lol.

    I didn't see the part where they unscrewed the shocks. Where do the shocks bolt onto?
    I've got everything on except the shocks. I've got them zip tied up but where do they connect at?

    Good video for removal. Thank you.
    Not much maintenance, but the locking rods on mine will rust in place where they go through the guides if it is not used every once in a while.

    My lock cylinder is stuck and cannot be locked anymore. I wonder where I could get a replacement? I tried to contact local Ottawa dealer but never got a reply.

    Do you have lights in that garage? You should turn them on. All I see is black on black and the back of someones hand turning something.....I think.

    Hoping you will reapond, cant find any info online. What is the weight capacity on top of the tonneau? Need to change 3rd brake light, can someone sit on the cover or will it be damaged?

    Great info, I just need to move my cover back so I can work on the 3rd stop light which has a leak. I don't want to climb on the cover because I'm afraid it might break. Do you know what is a safe weight limit the cover will hold without damage?

    I like the video and appreciate the step by step visual but there is no sound between 0:50 and 3:56. And later in the video, starting at 5:16, the sound goes bad because Brian is the only one with a microphone and you can't hear Gary when Brian goes under the tonneau cover.

    If you are going to go to the trouble of making a video like this, next time use a truck with a contrasting color, like white, so you BLACK parts are clearly visible in the video. ALSO, it's nice (maybe) that you show the 4mm allen wrench - because that's all many truck owners may have - but THEN use a cordless screwdriver with an extension so you can get your stupid hands out of view so people can actually SEE what is going on. The developers of this video operated unencumbered by the thought process.

    My 00 s10 came with an ARE fiberglass bed cover. literally takes 5 seconds with two people to remove and set aside. just lift it high and slide back to unhook is all it takes. why make it literally a project on your new designs? makes no sense.

    The wait for these things is ridiculous. If you buy a 2024 truck, you might get your cover before 2025 but don't bet on it. I am six months into my wait for a fusion tonneau cover

    Great product but the company doesn't sell parts..... you have to go to a dealer and wait 8 weeks for simple parts. Would recommend you do your research into other truck cap options. I got this with a spotless truck box that I used to replace my old truck box while rebuilding a 1999 Dodge Dakota.... the place that I got the box from didn't bother giving me the clamps or lift arms that came with the cap so that's where the adventure began...... 8 weeks later and MANY complaints they are finally sending the parts to a dealer so I can get them. Not a good way to do business for a cap that has a serial number so the parts list should already be known. Service after the original sale grade D. There are other options like Leer or SnugTop. Which I will be exploring for my new truck.... never going through this again.

    Good video but what was the 1/4 allen for?

    • @reggiehallman355
      @reggiehallman355 6 лет назад

      No, I have listened to this video 3 times. However, he didn't say 1/4 allen but 1/8 allen. The guy clearly says a few tools needed, a small screwdriver, 1/8 allen, and 4mm allen. I'm not confused, just admit the mistake as anyone can do.

    • @wildboyldc

      The bolt/screw is 1/4 inch, not the allen wrench.

    • @TheCowboysdude
      @TheCowboysdude 4 года назад

      Hope you don't need parts..... good luck getting them. You'd think they'd sell them on their site but they don't. So God help you because now you have to find a dealer, give them the serial number and wait next to forever to get simple parts......

    I just purchased the LSX painted to match cover for my 2020 Limited Ram. I put this cover on all of my trucks. This one did not have rubber trim around the cover,is that correct or did it get left off at the factory? Also it looks to be to large next to the cab of the truck. Not a good fits! Please help. 662-681-6125.
