Wow, that's what it's come to? A mini milling machine and a computer to make keys. Great job.
Pretty much!
@@L1Training what would we do if we didn't have access to these China made tools?
Now this is a real honest-to-goodness how-to video. If you have the right tools of course!
Amazing to see someone who has mastered that convoluted process,!
Nice job Keith
Thank you
Hi Keith. That’s a perfect example of of being independent by having the right tools in your business. Especially as I call it the Key lathe . I do the same in my home shop . Get the right tools for the job. Very interesting short vid . Thanks.💥💥💥💥💥⚡️⚡️👍
More of a CNC milling machine not a lathe. I'm an automotive locksmith as well.
Thanks
Wow, overcomplicated junk. I like my normal 2004 Ford key. Also programming the Ford fob add ons were easy. Not sure what ford programming is now though. Thanks for the video. Interesting to see the new junk these companies are using.
My and my sons are a new subscriber sin I saw the pc that you fix for mister Eric O from sma
Slick!!
0:54 I recommend saying, that "for safety reasons I took the guard off" - for the engagements ;D
Love it my friend!!!
UHS is going to sell DOZENS of these now !!!! 😜😉😂😂
Please don't buy from UHS. I am a local automotive locksmith to them. They sell to anyone including your customers. One of my guys was down picking up supplies and overheard another locksmith talking to his customer. Locksmith called him to let him know he picked up an ignition switch and the customer told him he already bought one from UHS. I will only buy buy from them if we desperately need a fob we don't have to get a customer going.
Hello sir .
Great video again.
Since you talked about sprinter I have an issue with eis there is not a good video about how to testing it or programming it they all are mute .
Can you please help me .
Thank you sir
He he he. You said “ slot data”
I desperately need to buy kr55.
Hello Keith! Hey do you guys have anything as far as what vehicles require what, for key replacement/adding?
While some cars are super easy and only involve swapping keys back and forth to add a key, some require all sorts of "tricks". Dou you guys have data on what vehicle require what, to program keys?
Nope, takes thousands of hours of learning to figure it out. You need every tool and then there is still stuff you can't do.
I have an 05 crossfire stuck in my garage for a few years waiting on a key. Can i bring it to you? Im in Oklahoma.
The key and cruise control stalk look exactly like late 90s mercedes.
It is a R170 Mercedes chassis.
Do you guys do videos on key programming
They have L1Training which has alot of training on various topics. It's a monthly subscription but worth it.... 🤙
hey love the content. Went to Patreon and couldnt fint you. Is the L1 website the better option if im looking for paid training?
Yes, absolutely, moved everything off patreon a long time ago.
Am i understanding correctly? You can make a replacement key and program it without having the vehicle present as long as the original key is still functioning? I only have one key, it need s to be changed into a new housing but i am afraid to attempt it without a spare key first. Can you provide a price per key? 2005 xfire base. Thanks

@L1Training I said more than a payment option however I was able to find someone, after contacting state to state multiple dealerships locksmiths and every were and believe it or not I found someone that did all keys lost because of my house fire and he drove out to the car and literally did everything then boom car was running and I paid that man extra than what he wanted Cash because he literally was the only one In America I could find for all keys lost and he actually was willing to help after my house burned down and the red cross got involved, he was very smart, thank you for the response.

Idonno would you invested in all those outdated key programming tools and weird Euro scanners off eBay just to program a key ever blue moon, or just put on tires for $50 each all day long 5 days a week.
Locksmith seems to make quick money, but people needing strange keys made for weird obsolete cars is few and far between. You would have to charge more than the dealer to make a profit, so what’s the point. You cannot be a dealer level shop for every car out there or you’ll go broke fast.
These days if my Snap-on scanner won’t work, they can take their weird car someplace else.
It’s like the truck driver who drove all night to get there and then they want him to unload the truck. Ridiculous!
I think you need to rethink your train of thought as Snap-On isn't the end all to be all.
Good Auto Locksmiths have many programmers as Keith does as well.
Wish Keith would loan me his KR55 as I have a Crossfire next week. It's AKL. I'll pay shipping to and fro...
Yea, I bet I am totally doing it wrong, I'll take that $1 Million in sales I did last year and throw it in the trash..... I should have just read the comments and not wasted all that money on all of the dealer level tools..... LOL
@@L1Training😂😂😂😂😂
While I wouldn't buy the KR55 because we have several others that do a lot more only having one scan tool is short sighted. We run 100-150 automotive locksmith calls per week. We have Autel 508's, 608, KM100's (never used them yet) Advanced Diagnostics Smart Pro ( best of the bunch),Smartbox and a few Chinese knockoffs and more I forgot the names. Sometimes a car won't program with 1 or 3 of them and the Chinese knockoffs worked.
