- Hey friends! Today we are back in the dining room to finish some final touch ups that I wasn't able to complete in the grand dining room reveal! We are finishing up the peel and stick tile on the fireplace, making cafe curtains for the windows and recovering the bench! I feel like these final products really helped make this space come together!

Sugar, my brilliant mother would tell a non-mapper/you don’t have to nap anymore, just have (60 minute) quiet time in your bed. Books were allowed. Worked like a charm. I used the same successfully with my 2 sons but allowed books on tape. Elizabeth

Absolutely beautiful!!! I think sheers in a shade or two lighter than the color of your curtains would look nice too. They would provide privacy and still let light in. You have made such a beautiful home for your family! I can't wait to see the boy's room!!!

Courtney, your dining room is gorgeous! Have you thought about putting a frosted film over the glass on the door?. They also have floral pattern design in the privacy film. That would look great as well. It would not compete with the walls, paint or drapes. Just a thought. LOVE your channel. Harvey is the best helper!

Beautiful! I love everything you've done! I've seen before in old homes where the put drapes over old doors like that that they didn't use anymore.

Yayyy! Hey girlfriend! I always get excited when I pick up my phone & there's a "Heart & Home Crew" video!😁 I've been tea-staining or dying for many years.. since my daughter was young. In the early 90's we collected old handmade rag dolls & homemade raggedy Ann's.. and the fabric for both the dolls & clothing was normally tea-stained. Myself, my mom & sister & a good friend all collected them & my mama started making & selling them eventually. She loved to sew. We always stained the entire pieces of fabric before cutting.. usually the dolls were made from muslin, & the clothes from cotton fabric as well. We also stained alot of our doilies if they didn't look old or were too white. I've even used it on wood utensils, cross stitch pieces & the hoops, things like that. And I took some pages from one of my hymnals to frame & wiped them with a sponge dipped in tea, then framed after it dried, just to make the page look old! Girl the possibilities are endless!😉😁 I really like the fabric you chose for the cafe curtain! And I also think it was a good choice using that film for the door.. looks beautiful! Fireplace hearth looks so good! Well I'm going to start praying & claiming that you'll hit a million subscribers SOON! I would love to see you make your dream trip come true! You so deserve it!😊 Yayyy Harvey makes an appearance, just as cute as a button!🥰 Tell him the friends says hello! The bench turned out really nice! Everything looks really pretty, of course! I'm sorry but i do find one thing wrong with the video, and most all your videos.. I have that same window film in my house! I've always just used plain water to hang it, does the soap make a difference?

I liked it all except the plastic tiles. Looks cheap . I wouldn’t use the fireplace they might melt.
They are fire resistant and the fireplace doesn’t work!
