I have this large unexplained coolant loss occurring every 40 miles, (my entire surge-reservoir tank is evaporated basically) as I try to figure out why this is happening, ie the actual cause of it, I wondered if a stuck thermostat could cause coolant loss ? (I don't see any coolant staining around my thermostat like it's dripping out anywhere out there, and my coolant elbow tube is newer and looks clean as well, ) but would a stuck closed thermostat appear as faulty if I pay for another ''coolant pressure test '' ?
F150 2017-2020 thermostat when stuck closed will cause the fans to run full power at low temperatures. The gauge may not go past half way… I know. Buy the OEM thermostat and the oring for it, and a couple of CORRECT color anti freeze premixed. Watch YT videos for tips on replacing. ONLY use distilled water, other can damage the antifreeze makeup
