I feel Edison was improver , innovator by inspiration. Edison was competitive to Westinghouse where Tesla was working. He wasn't targeting Tesla but the company. Light bulb was improvement by Edison. Any way Tesla was a genius at the same time has many ideas which were far far ahead of His times. Edison was more like modern Elon Musk , who improved electric cars & neuro linking technology.
