3:06 working principle of electric bulb is heating effect of current, i.e., H=i²Rt It means the bulb will stay on till the electricity supply is on, irrespective of its direction !! So, AC or DC doesn't matter here.
Very good information. But one suggestion: The transition in various clips have some flash light effect which hits and gives a strain while concentrating and watching your video. For example after 2:47 time stamp. Try to have better animation. Thanks
Actually..I did my engineering in early 2000's and when he said 'Science ke students to jaante hi honge' I just hoped my wife doesn't pause the video and asks me to explain 😂
Today again DC is being used for very high power transmission in order of few thousand Megawatts through single transmission line called asynchronous link in grid.
I watched a movie The current war of Benedict Cumberbatch which is based on exactly this topic. And sir you really work hard to convey great knowledge to us. Thank you so much❤
One correction Ac current me light bulb 50 hz frequency hone ki vajah se 1 sec me 100 bar jalega or 100 bar bujhega 😊 kyoki 1 circle me 2 bar voltage full hoga or 2 baar 0 . Or 1 sec me 100 bar direction badalti he AC current me .
Funny thing is that most of appliances in our house run on dc.mostly all appliance first convert ac to dc then they use it.only appliance which use motor or heat effect of current use ac current.
Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla were central figures in the "War of the Currents" during the late 19th century. Edison championed direct current (DC), which flows in one direction, while Tesla advocated for alternating current (AC), which periodically changes direction. Edison's DC system had limitations, notably in transmitting electricity over long distances. Tesla's AC system, with its ability to easily transform voltage, proved more efficient for long-distance power transmission. The Battle of Currents reached its peak when Tesla's AC system was chosen for the electrification of the Niagara Falls power plant. Ultimately, the advantages of AC, particularly in long-distance transmission, won out. AC became the standard for electrical power distribution, thanks in part to the development of the transformer, which allowed for efficient voltage conversion. Today, AC power is the dominant form of electricity used globally.
Sir 1st of all thanks alot for making such wonderful videos for us even after your busy schedule, u really r a inspirational for me Sir just wanna remind u of making a video on Cuban Missile Crisis , whenever u have tym nd feel like so
I think he is a diploma student😂 Today DC is used for high voltage transmission (HVDC) and now days we can easily stepup and stepdown dc power using buck boost converter. We use ac because it's generate easily and efficiently and one more reason dc can't generate via the generator first generat ac then convert in dc via commutator so its very costly so we generate only ac power via generator and in electronic dc power is used. Please give a true information if you have. LOL
Please don't spread false information. Tesla did not invent AC . He was one of the contributors. The first AC generator was developed by hypoolite pixie. And the credit of theorising AC goes to Michael Faraday.

If frequency is 50 Hz, then current change its direction 100 times per second.
Ur way of explaining is very osm...thanks for this best info..

But when it's comes to ultra High voltage transmission after a limit AC is failed, HVDC is winner 🏆 for transmission loss + cost efficiency

Fun fact edison didnt invent light bulb
Tesla be like to Edison jukh ke Ana hoga mere age
But Edision was right , now we are using HVDC for distribution
HVDC is not same as Edison's Straightforward DC. HVDC uses completely non linear semiconductor technology to produce itself.
So really HVDC is not Edison's approval😅
That's why Elon musk named his company-Tesla👃
