Clacton-On-Sea Town Centre High Street Walk - Amusements, Shops And Farage Reform - June 2024

In this video I will take a walk around Clacton-On-Sea in the county of Essex. Clacton is a large seaside town on the East coast of England. In this video I will take a walk from the promenade to the town centre. The video was taken on Sunday 30th June 2024. The time was approximately 12:45pm.

I was born in Clacton in a nursing home near the station during the great freeze of 1963. Clacton was very upper class when I was a child, the sort of place where you would get dressed up in your best clothes for a shopping trip into town. I lived there until I got married at age 21. My parents continued to live there until their deaths in 2008 & 2015 respectively. The town is now filled with druggies & alcoholics, hence I haven’t been back there since 2015 when my dear late mother passed away. Good video, thanks, brought back some memories. My parents got married at the church I got a quick glimpse of.
