Brother… this is almost tormenting us making us wait 2 days to hear you bless us with the knowledge of brother Fredrick
I know right? I’ve said this before.
i thought about this too, but BROOK might be going thru his own emotions everytime he reads this to us.....
I can honestly say as a 27 Y/o black man this has opened up another path in my brain to learn more. Thank you 🤲🏾
however long this series takes, i will stand by you. keep going brother.
There's a college in Harlem NY, called The City College of New York, where this book (F. Douglass) was a requirement.
I appreciate you sharing this content. Thank you.
Damn Brooklyn. Preach!

Great work
In a way, the knowledge of reading and writing parallels the allegorical consumption of the fruit of knowledge of good & evil. Like Adam and Eve, Fredrick was blocked from taking the next step and consuming the knowledge of writing. Likewise, God expelled the couple from the plantation, as they were no longer fit for the capacity that God had initially intended. Ironically, God's plan for salvation and redemption is for us to sacrifice our intellectual integrity on the alter of credulity; believe the unbelievable and "leaning not to our own understanding". Basically, luring back those willing to believe, if they agree to be dumb and dependent.
Exactly they definitely did not want the Black Hebrews to find out who they are! That brings freedom
I feel Fredrick. Learning the true history of the Bible and more specifically how little it pertains to “black peoples” (Ethiopians-burnt face) yet their obsession with it and not bettering their lives in the real world is absolutely disheartening to me.
8:44 And the same tendencies exist today. From the position of White women in leadership and supervisory positions, selecting Black, and now POC staff as her subordinate. Taking pleasure in both training and grooming them, even if already well trained and skilled. And alternating to stern micromanagement and grilling once the employee (still referred to Master and Slave in legal books) is self sufficient and competitive in their job. Employees continue to play ignorant.

Can we get an overview as to what direction this is going?
Why did you stop speaking about The Scriptures? 😔
How this information in the twenty first century can be useful?

@@cawtindamiddle5312it’s used because back then slavery was base on legal documents called indentured contracts, if a slaves had the ability to read then he/she could negotiate the terms or sue to discharge or stipulate their owns terms that benefit the same slave, people now can read but ONLY in common usage of words, they don’t know that the words have legal meaning as well, THEREFORE people still are indentured to financial companies for example a 30 year mortgage credit cards, a job prison etc etc…

Part of critical thinking is over-riding emotion and intuitive judgment during the thinking process. However, if you’re peddling nonsense that has no genuine evidential-basis, emotion and bias are probably the only things driving your thought.
