Your review is good , but I beg to differ with your comment , that there are way many affordable flagship at same price. The Realme GT2 is $200 (USD) cheaper than some of its rivals with the same chipset. In reality how many people utilise the full spec of a phone ? Most likely lower than 10% . The realme gt2 speed and camera will be suitable for about 80% of it's users. However there will be no phone that will have or meet 100% perfection for all . The key thing is never get sucked in to manufactures gimmicks or be enticed to get a new device every year, once the phone meets all your needs in areas like performance, battery life/capacity , battery charging and at least a good main camera and value for money then you should be fine
The major problem with the Realme GT2 is the audio of video recordings, it sounds bad, distorted, boosted, muffled and lacks resolution. At first I've thought that my unit is defective but seeing other RUclips videos confirmed that all of them have this problem. The PRO version doesn't have this issue.

Whats the point? Prices change based on region and availability anyway. You cant appeal a review to all regions in the same way when including a price of one specific region. Even stating its MSRP wont really do anything as nothing these days sell at the MSRP price.
They say the segment it is priced at, but since different regions for global phones change dramatically and the discounts they have are wildly different, it makes no sense other than to mention the segment they are aimed at.

For GT2 and Pro they guarantee 3 android updates and 4 years of security updates. The rest of their phones is a lottery, usually 2 android updates and that's it

In India it cost 30k for comparison s21fe cost 55k. It's most affordable sd888 most phone in its price range have sd778,870 or D1200. so a very good deal. Only gt Neo 3 can change that.

The Neo 3 was released end Mar in China starting at Y2399 so you may want to wait for that if the Neo 2 isn't heavily discounted where you are. Its competitor is the Redmi K50 / Poco F4 that's also coming out soon in the rest of the world. I bought my GT 2 Pro 256GB 12GB in SEA for EUR550 2 weeks ago. There are certainly corners cut compared to typical flagships but I'm relatively pleased with it.

I'm facing the same dilemma trying to figure out which one to choose. I think I'm gonna buy the GT 2 coz of its corner selfie cam, better image processing, stabilized 4K 30/60fps videos, 3-year Android updates, and 2000 rupees cheaper than Neo 3 for 12/256 version with bank offers. Both have an excellent cooling system and battery life, better than other 888 phones like Mi 11T Pro. I agree that 8100 SoC has better gaming performance, but the lack of stabilization and a distracting centre punch hole bugs me. 65W charging in 33 minutes is enough for me. There's no clear winner here, so buy Neo 3 for gaming and GT 2 for shooting videos. I'm getting the 12GB variant coz Realme RAM management sucks, hope it'll be enough. I wish they would've just made one phone with the best features from both.

On miui there is no option to raise it higher unlike Samsung where they have this setting "show button to hide keyboard" which raises the keyboard up to a comfortable typing position for my hands. On miui the keyboard sits all the way at the bottom and ur hand will hurt badly with that awkward typing height. The only fix is to download microsoft swiftkey or completely ditch gesture navigation and go back to using the 3 navigation buttons.

Plastic, absorbs, most of the stress from a drop(if not all), sustains worse cosmetic damage from it Aluminum, transfers the stress right onto the display or back glass, and once is bent or deformed cant ever go back to its original state. Except if you bend the phone like a caveman, you wont notice any other practical difference, yes plastic is propably gonna be the easier one to snap on occasion more often than the reverse, depending on the design and plastic materials being used on the frame. What you dont understand is that there are much bigger factors at play here other than the mats being used on the frame, design, r&d and list goes on. And even about the mats, since we talking about them, no aluminum is pure, all are alloys as well. Roll back to your cave.
Gt 2 has better cpu, battery, and main camera. Screens are very similar. Software is cleaner in gt2. I cant think a single reason to get 11t.. well maybe splash resistance, or better ultra wide camera, if you really need it for some reason.... Go for gt 2
