You can't take shots at Chris Pratt for trying to be funny, followed by purposely bad jokes. How many stones are you planing to throw in this glass house, Tony?
craftynumber2 Chris Pratt is actually very funny all of his jokes are scripted though making them bad also many other people caused the snap like Thor not going for the head or scarlet witch for not killing vision earlier in the movie
Well, during the late 80s/90s Simonson took Thor back to his Mythic roots. There was an unthinkably cool issue where Thor went to Hel to save some kidnapped mortal souls and on the way out Skurge the Executioner sacrificed himself so they could escape. Also during the "X-Tinction" event Thor came on a slaughter scene where most of the "Morlocks" were being butchered. He killed those doing it with his hammer, then used the hammer to cause fires through the tunnels to burn away the corpses - viking burial style.
I thought 3 Thors took down Gore. The Thor we all know, a younger Thor, and an older Thor. Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember them fighting in old Thor's future where the youngest or had been taken from the past for slave labor, and modern-day Thor went to to hunt down Gore
Thor Ragnorak was probably the best combination of unexpected things. It basically threw in a similar feeling to Planet Hulk .with the actor who played Loki doing one of the best possible acting I've seen.
The Asgardians are actually gods. Not all of them have titles, I think those are just given to them based on like what they specialize in or something. Like Thor is an Asgardian god who is known as the god of thunder because he can naturally manipulate lightning and thunder. So yeah you don’t need like a title to be a god. Asgardians are just born gods. There’s like one single comic in all of Marvel that implies that they’re only aliens, but that was a claim that in universe was based around humans who attempted to study the Asgardians. All other comics outright show them to be legitimate gods.
Angel Guerra Those guys were called the Ones Who Sit Above In Shadow. Idk if they were gods, but they fed on the cycle of Ragnarok, which is when the Asgardians die and are reborn again. They were like some cosmic beings I think who basically just fed on the life force and shit of Asgard every time it was destroyed and reborn during and after Ragnarok.
"We need a story arc spanning 2 years and ending the lives of trillions throughout the universe" "No prob. We are starting issue 1 on Asgard right?" "Did you just start working here?"
Never forget that in actual mythology, Loki pretends to be a woman, gets Thor drunk, sleeps with him, /and gets pregnant/. Yes, Thor and Loki ha e a kid together.
I know a lot of fans like Thor with a bit of an edge on him. But I so enjoyed Chris Hemsworth's portrayal of Thor's humorous sides. Believe it or not, there were a lot of humorous stories in the pages of Thor. The ones that stand out as a fan were many of the battles Thor had against the Wrecker. Of course, some fans will say that the Wrecker is not a good villain for Thor. But I think the Wrecker was an excellent adversary. The Absorbing Man too. There was one distinctive battle I remember when Thor's powers were cut in half by Odin and the Wrecker was owning Thor in their fight. It came to the point that the Wrecker demanded Thor to admit he was "eating crow" before defeating him. And Thor being Thor told the Wrecker despite being mostly on the receiving end of their fight that he would never admit defeat to such a vile villain as the Wrecker. Great Stan Lee story writing.
The background music is relatively peaceful. I feel like I'm in an elevator to an office job and one of my co-workers just went off on the crazy shit that happened to Thor in the comics. It's a good vibe tbh
" Broken " a mental state where basically the person is crippled by many types of emotions normally Despair and Depression to the point they won't get up to do anything including eating and bathroom break it's quite sad and gut reaching to watch someone so bright become so so SO dark and eventually the bright fades away
Probably my main gripe with the movies. They want the characters to be relatable, funny, and quirky (even if it isn't in their nature in the comics). Those traits used to be reserved for specific heroes that are known to be goofs such as Spiderman. Now that everyone is like that, Spiderman and other goofy characters feel bland in a world of "quirky and relatable" heros.
Serve First Death Second Which is why I find it fucking bullshit with Thor being considered ‘Boring’ He can still be funny like in EMH. But he can be as epic equal to the new god of war!! In terms of music, story and mythological epicness.
Sentry regained control of himself momentarily and begged Thor to kill him otherwise the Void would take back control and kill everyone and everything.
Of course. The end times when all the Asgardian gods were dying left and right, while Thor was there to rally a dwindling army in an ever hopeless situation because they were doomed to repeat it for all eternity isn't all that dark.
with the whole kid loki thing....there IS the agent of asgard comic which is all about that reborn loki....kinda grown up but still the loki who killed the kid to fullfill his plan, except he isnt doing that and is instead being consumed by guilt as he legit tries to clean his past and become a better person while he also deals with an existential crisis being neither the kid loki everyone loved or the king loki everyone hates. cool comic they made loki a hunk
I love Gorr. His whole arc was amazing, one of the best comic stories I've ever seen. My biggest wish for a comic story is another Marvel/DC crossover with Gorr finding the most vile god of them all. How amazing would it be to see Gorr get his hands on Darkseid?
They explained Siege so badly it hurts, and what makes it worse is how they think they're funnier than Chris Pratt who mind you was making Tom Holland laugh his god damn ass off just by being on set. Good job guys
Thor was absent during the original Civil War arc because he was dead. Ragnarok had occurred, and Thor had broken down the cycle, so the Asgardians stayed dead (temporarily), so he was completely gone during CW. After he came back to life, he was pissed that Tony created a machine in his likeness and used it to murder people he considered friends.
Gor had been right all along and all it took was one moment where he was violent instead of being introspective to ruin his plans and condemn the Marvel Universe to be blighted with deities.
Ragnarock be like: you think loki is the odd one? with the black hair and being a villian? well guess what, thor is the odd one, being a good guy and having blonde hair and whatnot
Why are you wearing your hat like "Oh, hey Chip, you wanna go play some baseball with the fellas? My ma just bought me a new mitt so you can use my old one, and you can play third bag."
Actually, with the Loki thing for #5 you got some things wrong. First of all when evil Loki returns into young Loki's body, young Loki tells him that "it is the crime that will not be forgiven". This puts a ton of guilt onto old Loki prompting him to be the one who tells Thor to kill him if he becomes evil, NOT young Loki. Also this actually worked and Loki did stay good for a very long time in his own series Loki: Agent of Asgard where he works for his mother. However, he then faces off with his future evil self and ends up killing himself so that he never becomes the evil self that he is destined to be. He then becomes Loki God of Stories rather than lies. This was right before the Secret Wars update, but it was shown that he is actually still god of stories in current comics as well. Even now he is more of an anti hero, and is currently helping his brother Thor with the war of realms in the Thor 2018 and was in Doctor Strange battling Void again too.
It is all explained throughout the entire Loki: Agent of Asgard series from 2014. It is actually a extremely fun and well-written book. It also has some great art!
you haven't read "time runs out" or "incursion" during the final fight against the beyonders Thor became worthy again. Leaving him unable rto lift the unworthy version of mjolnir. Alongside Hyperion, he fought a losing battle until Doom reach the ootherside kicking secret wars event into motion.
Thank you sir, for your honest AND ACCURATE assessment of Chris pratt NOT being the funniest marvel cinematic actor. Your so right and these salty characters saying otherwise are just....salty
So you aren't going to mention what happened in For Asgard & Michael Avon Oeming's Ragnarok? Those stories are dark as hell. Thor takes off Loki's head and keeps it.

Why didn't Tony regrow his beard for this video.
Some Random Name He looks Good /better /younger without it.
Some Random Name and less of a creep
I'd go down on him with or without a beard
Accidentally used carbonadium razor. Beard can't regenerate.
Same reason Thor had short hair in Ragnarok. Because in this day and age, men are no longer men!

The Asgardians are actually gods. Not all of them have titles, I think those are just given to them based on like what they specialize in or something.
