First time at doing something like this, I think it turned out okay, still lots to learn!
Shame that Upscale himself hasn’t uploaded a version. Though, he’s probably having the fun of making a bit lighter here and there to make it better.

Nice to hear that Guilliman's voice is nailed down here. Strong , staunch and a tint of angelic otherworldy vibrance to it. Other than in BFG where he sounded a bit constipated.

They could have braken the mold a bit my making the Edition cinematics feature different chapters too. This is the time of the DA, it should have featured DA! Even a GLIMPSE of the Lion in CG would have sent the internet reeling!

10th edition isn't about the DA, it looks like. Lion El'jonson is for arks of omen, which is 9th edition. Plus, the ultramarines actually have a good reason to be against the tyranids specifically given the tyrannic war lore.

They make them better and better, not gonna lie! Absolutely awesome!! They have a potential to make a full movie like that one day.

This is the level of detail I want on WH+ Animations
GW has a lot of money but I do wonder...if it's NETFLIX level of money. I think wanting every WH+ anims like this is a bit much cuz this is very high quality AND COSTLY.
Well the same studio behind this and pretty much all the other cinematics have been working on Pariah Nexus so I guess it will happen lol
I actually really enjoyed hammer and bolter, the studio ghibli vibe works well and allows for easy animation and budget I'm sure, they could just keep rolling out 10 min stories like while preparing a bigger more expensive "movie" style animation like I dunnooo... GIVE ME ASTARTES II!!
Really happy to see a mix of new and old in the units displayed. New Primaris unit weapons, Terminator update, Screamer Killer, presumably a new Lictor. In addition all the combi-weapons look amazing, as well as how the bolt weapons are displayed. Lovely!
See, this is why Warhammer should make animated movies and series rather than live action ones.
This was absolutely brutal and really well done. I hope Henry Cavill's 40k tv show comes out with more of this. It is the Emperors will.
Also, idk what those nids where near the end sucking out that primaris marines guts, but that was absolutely horrifying and made the bad assery and courage of the SMs fighting as they watch their brothers die horribly that much more significant.

I fully expect Amazon to take a fat dump on 40k, Cavill or not though.

Very awesome...It has taken me a couple times watching to figure out what was different between this trailer and 9th editions trailer...in this trailer they look more like minitures that are moving. Neat concept

I personally think the Necron one was better
I'd probably go with the HH reveal as the best, though this is pretty decent. But then the HH trailer has titans. Comparing the two - I'm pretty sure the HH had Astartes chap working on it going on the quality of the combat scenes. The 40K trailer doesn't have quite the same polish or finesse when it comes to setting up scenes and letting them play out in an easy-to-follow manner.

It’s pretty cool that 10th is focused on the 4th Tyranic war which falls in line with Space Marine 2!
Guillaman has been hard carrying the imperium since his return, I’m glad the lion is back to give Angron a whooping he will never forget, I just hope The Lion and Guillaman don’t come at odds with each other.
From what I know Guillaman did gave him a position in the Imperium Secondus long time ago in case a problem happened. Besides he knows the Lion's abilities as a commander is a big need even it involve a lot of dead xenos.
Although not sure how the Lion respond if they need to work with some xenos like those eldar.

The Librarians’ runes and signets glowing along with their faces was such a smart flare!!! They’re gonna have to start selling the models with fiber optics and LEDs. Eldar Harlequins could look so impressive with glowing articles like that.
You know I wonder if space marine 2 is part of 10th edition, as it deals with tyranids invasions on imperial worlds.

I mean we got Guilliman from the Horus Heresy Legions, and he sounds like he has a very distinct accent.
They still put it in a light baritone which was the fairest choice. A civil Primarch should still have the deep voice of command.
This has been all over my feed and I'm still not tired of it. So hyped for 10th.
This was incredible! The art had a nice distinctive taste, it mirrored something between real and tabletop.

Ultramarines got pretty brutalized but to be fair they’re probably spread thin. And with the lions return he’s probably gonna take a lot off king smurfs plate.
The entire first company of the Ultramarines got wiped out in the first Tyrannic war. That's 100 terminator Astartes right there, nevermind ye typical tactical squads, Imperial Guard, Mechanicum and PDF of Macragge. Fighting off Tyrannids always incurs massive losses.
I mean have you ever seen starship troopers or seen any zombie movie ever? When you're fighting a force that deals in overwhelming numbers and immediate adaptation you either crush them or get brutalized there's no in-between
@@thathandsomedevil0828 Not to mention this is the tyranid that have been invading the Galaxy for thousands of years. The have evolved much from the tyranid of the first contact war. Just look at the newly introduced Maleceptors. It is said that there have been cases of single Maleceptors wiping out an entire squad of space marines. Even into the video you can see that 1on1 they'll bench press an average space marine librarian. Tyranid are not just quantity over quality, if they find it necessary they are fully capable of deploying gigantic beasts that eat tanks for breakfast.

Much better than the original, shame RUclips compression impacts the image quality somewhat but at least it's not as washed out as 1080p on a 4k screen
I was so confused when they dropped the trailer in 1080p, after all that work they put into this EPIC trailer, they couldn't make it 4K? Talk about getting lazy right at the finish line lol. But thanks for this Chapter Master, a big improvement.

it really sounds like Roboute is on the verge of giving up, knowing the truth that him alone cant fix what 10,000 years of rot has caused. I also think there might be another trailer to come one with the lion thoughts on the matter and what he sees.

@@mawc92 yep. Agreed. Personally, the movement here just doesn't do it for me. The efficient, fluid movement in Astartes is too good - these guys just look too... stiff. Especially for genetically modified professional killers.
And yeah, don't get me started on the sound design in Astartes. Jeez luiz.

They are using his animation, just a redesigned version of it. I don't think the Astartes guy has enough clout for GW to want to give him full control over a product this early
i never grew up w/ this franchise but recently been getting random youtubes on it and now im hooked. Wish there was a PC MMORPG for it or soemthing.

They should invest in some artillery systems. Imagine if they had a battery of three self propelled 155mm guns each capable of 3 rounds time on target burst fire. They could drop a 9 round barrage from 20-60 kilometres away and redeploy to avoid counterbattery fire. Each round with a circular error probability of about 10 metres, with good intelligence they could wipe out square kilometres of Tyranids and score direct hits on larger individuals.
Then they wouldn't have to play into the Tyranid's strengths by standing 10 metres in front of them, firing with impotent smallarms then getting torn to pieces.

People talk about how the Imperium aren't "good" guys, but image what a fucking nightmare it is to be surrounded by Chaos, Orcs, Tyrannids, Necrons, and all manner of horror you can't even imagine, wanting nothing more than to consume everything in its path. Warhammer is such a grim and terrifying vision of the universe.

What bothers me about these videos and some of the books is that they depict Astartes dying so easily. There’s not many of them in the grand scheme and there’s no way they’d stop a real Tyranid invasion when they die at this clip.
Agreed. Video was badass, but I don't think it depicts Astartes correctly. I don't think it'd be that easy to rip a terminator in half for example
@@MrAmbrosse You are dealing with Tyrannids who adapt very quickly to threats. It is very possible.
C'mon guys, space marines are infallible beings. GW has made it very clear that space marines rely mostly on plot armour.
Not to mention that little thing called space hulk, where genestealers will ruin terminators if they get into Melee.
Also note the first tyrannic war, and the pitful victory on Maccrage.

Please don’t let them ruin this art with a live action adaptation. This is the only way to convey the true raw nature of warhammer.
The only 2 things I dont like about this trailer is the sound design, it can be a little bad at some points, and the fact that the space marines dont look like real spacemarines. They look like scaled up space marine miniatures, in my eyes that makes it a bit worse and less immersive.
So is the Terminator Captain we see here Severus Agemman? Because that's exactly the character that Joytoy just released as Severus Agemman
