I know some of Leon's dialogue was cringeworthy. Like the scene where they reunite at RPD. He just comes across as fumbling a bit. Course that's a bit of the writer's fault, but if this were a real situation probably pretty accurate.

Annette Birkin's character was changed here where in the original she doesn't care in anything rather than their experiments. Here we see a bit of a change toward other characters. Nice.

yeah.. she changed here. I remember feeling really sad for Sherry before...but since they changed that. Seeing how quick Sherry can ask for new parents after just experiencing and actually seeing how her parents died is quite unsettling for me.
They focused in creating more empathy towards characters. I like that, I hope they continue with RE 3.

The reason Leon replies with a simple 'ok" is because in the original Japanese dub he says " yorushuku " which is a word that basically translates into " nice to meet you and let's get along " so when they were dubbing the English version , his mouth only flaps for one word but they needed to convey around 4 which was not possible hence they used the most in offensive suppliment

i love this version of claire better than any other versions of claire, she's the most realistic one, i mean all the characters in re remake is very very good characters from leon all the way to ada wong every character feels like a real character, if this was a movie it would be a perfect movie cause of the characters

At this point she is unconscious after Nemesis infected her. So it would be Carlos struggling to... find the time to get the vaccine for Jill? It has been almost two decades since I played RE3. And in any case, I found hard to believe that nothing (and with nothing I mean Nemesis) killed Jill when it took Carlos one to two days to bother to going for the vaccine.
No.. re3 is the start before re2, but near the end both games manage to be close to each other and both parties manage to escape the city before it blows up. Even tho jill and carlos almost died from the nuke while in the chopper

I really wish re remake elaborated a bit more on what really happen to Leon , Claire and Sherry bc it’s confirmed that Leon and Sherry were brought in by a secret organization where they trained Leon to be a hard core killing machine and took Sherry to run experiments on her and Claire left Sherry with Leon to head to Europe to find her brother that’s how she ended up in Rockford island and met Steve.
I was really hoping to see Leon and Sherry get taken in for interrogation. Kinda like how they did briefly in Memories of a Lost City in Darkside Chronicles.

Nice idea, but here's the mystery with Raccoon City: where the hell is it? We know it's obviously in the U.S, so that's a good way to narrow it down, but where exactly? I want to know this because in the first resident evil game, the whole of Raccoon City is turned to glass with nukes, so where exactly is it and how far did it spread outside of the city.

Just gonna say to the people saying that Leon and Claire became a father/mother figure to her. In the files in re6 it says how after Racoon City, she was pretty much brought up by the government who tried to keep a close on Racoon City. She still got to see Claire at times but she didn't see Leon again until re6. So even if they wanted to, neither of them became a parent to her.

I really enjoyed the canon ending, after all that it definitely put a smile on my face. Sherry wanting to start a new family with them was heart warming. I personally like Ada and Leon together though. I feel they had a little bit more of a connection because they spent a little bit of more time together to be intimate. But either outcome would be interesting though

Wouldn't that just ruin what they're going for Leon's personality here, they're trying establish him as a calm and collected individual and that was very consistent through out the game, him blowing up like that would had been out of no where.
@@bursky09 I don't disagree with you about his personality, but the way he's shown in the scene, he's pissed off and betrayed and is done listening to Ada's lies. Basically, he's at the end of his rope and isn't working so hard on controlling them. Like at 9:08, you can hear the hurt and anger in his voice when he pulls hjs gun on Ada, and when she keeps talking about the big picture while all he can think about is her betrayal, for that one brief moment, he slips. He does get himself under control again fairly quickly, but just for that one moment we see his true emotions. Even at 9:20, his voice raises just enough when he says, "And I'm just doing mine, so Drop That Damn Gun!" Thats where my ad lib starts, and I just wanted to let him have that chance to release a little bit.
@@brentage5000 What I interpreted here is more of a disappointment rather than anger specially since they barely knew each other. Shouting "SHUT UP!" feels like throwing a tantrum to someone you barely knew so I find it inappropriate and just really out of field.

RE4’s Leon certainly is very calm, cool, and collected but that’s because Leon is older/wiser and has probably seen plenty of biohazard disasters already.

Ah so Leon A and Claire B are canon because Ada falls off the ledge when Leon tries to save her I always go for Claire A and then Leon B back in the days of RE2 PS1, that ending is cute I like it also they change Claire a lot she thinks Leon more than a friend unlike in the orginal game, anyway I hope RE2 remake sold more than enough for Capcom to Remake RE3.

It still boggles my mind how so many fans want Leon to hook up with Ada. Oh, so because they've been flirting since the original RE2? Come on. Ada has always used him, and she will continue to do so until Capcom finally decides to give us ALL a goddamn break already. In fact, RE6 made it clear that she still only considers Leon "cute". It's even more ironic how Leon has the reputation of being a badass amongst the fanbase, yet he acts like a lovefool in every single game and movie he's in. How hasn't he realized yet that he has been friendzoned for the past 20 years? It's tedious seeing him chase Ada EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just stop, Capcom.
Funnily, I think that Capcom want to test new waters, hence why they put in a few Cleon moments in this remake. Claire is visibly more into him (as opposed to the original RE2, where she only cared about finding Chris), and both keep flirting, like in this ending. We are in a soft reboot right now (plenty of retcons in REmake 1 and 2, and REmake 3 will have changes too) anyway, so maybe they want to see how we like this pairing? Well, it definitely works for me. This newer Claire is more into Leon than any version of Ada has ever been. Enough already with Leon having yellow fever like an absolute moron.

I have nothing against Ada, but yes, after 20 years of teasing, this BS gets old. Not to mention Ada is not even a good person. Leon deserves better, if they pair him up with Claire that's cool, but I would rather he remain single instead of more BS.
