In the old version, when Ada has Leon at gun point he says “you can’t shoot me.” At which she lowers her gun. Annette shoots her and she plummets to the ground, but if you check her gun on the ground it’s empty.

I mean I'm not too informed around all this but, have you considered her famous hookshot? The grapple gun she uses to reach and move to high places? She did adquired it in Raccoon City and was probably before encountering Leon again and getting shot. That is all.

I love Leon in all of the older RE games, and he's always been my favorite- his personality, his skills, and his looks are an added bonus xD but this remake? This made me love him even more. The voice acting, the appearance, etc....superb. So well done.

People are wondering why they 'fall in love' so fast, or think it's BS. They both don't and do, it's really just a survival instinct. In the worst possible case scenario, you seek any creature comfort you can. You need to remember that both of them have saved each others' lives, and in a situation like this you inevitably see the true character of someone. These events effectively streamlined the hardest part of relationship-build; deep trust development. I could actually see her actually genuinely falling for him, she has literally trusted him with her own life and well-being.
When they kiss on the train? She was probably still in the process of deciding whether she liked him, but given they were both about to die she figured 'fuck it, rather do it than not and regret it.' The fact that she went into the NEST in the first place proves that aspect of her personality. And when you're literally living what most people would view as Hell, are you going to shoot the one emotional comfort in all of this nonstop exhausting turmoil? No way. As ridiculous as it may seem, their relationship is honestly the most realistic thing about this game.
TLDR: Love means free rocket launchers.

Oh, wow - they actually have Sherry wearing Claire's alternate costume vest like in the original game - that's detail.
Leon's bandages are made as they were on the original too. I'm glad not only were the classic outfits fit to match the new game, but also each detail was made for each, not just copied and pasted off of the default outfits.
i love how leon was so foolishly naive and stupid. it makes sense for the beginning of his character for him to be like that. and i love how everyone is telling him he's an idiot but he still doesn't get it.

To this day, I will never know how Birkin got onto the train.
It doesnt make sense in the original but kinda makes sense here. Remember the birkin claire final fight where claire wields that big ass gun? Birkin’s body mysteriously disappeared when claire attached the two train carts and got the thing moving. Birkin probably managed to crawl whatever’s left of him in the last cart of the train and regenerate there

Yes. Play as the other character in the second run. Like in the 1998 version, after playing Claire Disk A, you play Leon Disk B or vice versa but the canon is Claire first then Leon second.

Hollywood Hulk Hogan well technically speaking she was passed out during this time frame.
Just finished finished Leon A and Claire B fucking loved the game well lived up to the hype. Only gripe didn’t like tyrants final form but other than awesome game and defo on par with the classic.
This Tyrant is a pain in the ass if you don't have extra healing items and a Magnum or Shotgun handy.

What made Nemesis deadly was his ability to use weaponry and think independently carrying out its mission. Its peak is definitely its first form. Could you imagine the threat level with Nemesis being mass produced on the same scale as a T103.
Is anyone else at least a little upset that they took out the scenario B ending for Leon where she saves him from tyrant and “dies” in his arms and he screams her name? Cause I am, that was one of my all time favorite moments in the whole series cause they had a genuine moment as Leon gets up looks back and says “I’ll never forget you” man, I’m gonna go play the OG now.
Well ok but I’ve seen a few people say that this is the canon ending but that wouldn’t make sense. On top of it being my favorite ending, it’s the one that Ada is known for escaping from and the one that is told throughout the rest of the series. In the other games it shows him holding her and he says “I’ll never forget you”. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the way they remade the game but it just doesn’t feel like they put a as much diversity into the different stories/scenarios compared to the original game which made me sad.
I think the action was definitely better in the original in terms of timings and quips. And it’s not as if this game isn’t above having a character say some stupid shit after killing something.
There are mostly trade offs to what was re-done and what I liked most was just the idea that both characters could be in a completely different place. I thought they’d play around with that more.
Yea me too, in all 4 scenarios there isn’t that big of a difference, they all seem just about the same which ruined the immersion if you ask me. I still love the game though and I knew going into it that it wouldn’t beat the original, most remakes don’t, but this was still pretty impressive. I mainly just bought it for its updated graphics and my dedication to the series.
Itsghost7kk it’s weird I just feel like this game has little to no reason not to do certain things better than the original. And it does. If we consider the scale or size of monsters or locations, the game feels more realized of locales than the original pre-rendered graphics technically were but...
I think for all of that the game just doesn’t get anything out of it for how it stages fights or has two scenarios. I don’t like the 2nd run concept, I don’t even like that Tyrant chases you for seemingly no clear reason that’s communicated visually. As opposed to the twist being that it wants the G Virus and your character for varying circumstances is always near the sample.
Its not a bad game but I never saw the series as not being action horror like aliens. It’s like we imagined why the games were scary. It’s weird.
Exactly, I was a big fan of the first 3 games and while I loved 5&6 they were just more action packed than the “what’s around the corner.....OHH GOD” lol still I would love for the original to be remastered like 1 was. It’d be super epic in my opinion

She carries something like a gun but also something like Batman would used to shot up like a rope to hang on to something....that’s why she survive....if you watch RE 6 at the end where Ada stab Simon on the left side and throw him into the fire and she used her gun rope to pull her up....

The move set practically is identical to the original adding the jump. The design, well, I understand why they choose another. Practically they would have done exactly the Tyrant from the first remake but on fire, so more points for originality giving him pants?
Well, I liked the game and all that. It's wonderful. And usually I'm the last person to make a critic, but...his final form here could've been better. Like, well...the same thing as the original game, TDC and Damnation. Y'know ? The dual clawed form, without his limiter, strong, fast, and terrifying.
