- We’re finally back at York Hall after a 2-year hiatus and it was definitely worth the wait!!!! The first match of the WCT5 UK Championship was the 3-time Champions Marrero Gang taking on WCT newcomers RUN LDN and it was quite the opener!!
Without wanting to give anything away, I’m sure we’ll get a lot of questions / comments about Chase 2. Just to confirm, if either athlete steps outside the Quad, they lose that chase. If the Chaser steps out, that means the Evader wins the Chase which results in an Evasion.

I want to see a Chase Tag All Star Game with all the best athletes competing against each other and playing in mini games and such.
This would be great! We have a 1v1 format as well, so this would be lots of fun to try in the future!
@@WorldChaseTag on the flip, Imagine a bigger course and a free-for-all tag, if you're tagged you're now chasing, when you tag, you're out. When there's two left, then 1 minute? evasion starts. If the tagger gets the last one, they win, if the last one evades, they win.

The dive Krishan did during the last chase was incredible reaction time, if he hadn't assumed he was tagged that would have been a legendary evasion
Almost felt like a bit of a dirty move to go in for that foot tag, knowing that it actually won't count. But I guess winning through mind games is also winning
That should be cheating as the evader wouldn't know if he was actually tagged by a foot or a hand. Things were happening at breakneck speed and your dodging and weaving through obstacles, you wouldn't be able to tell if you were legally tagged or not. Also, he only got tagged because he stopped. They should have restarted that one
@@ILSLF I don't think he was trying to tag him. I think that's just where his foot went for his planned landing, only to find the evader dove beneath it.

I appreciate the little (but HUGE) upgrade they did to the Moutain by adding that little extra side step. Finally, the Moutain would be more accessible. Players like Kyle Soderman, Davis, and Caryl use it a lot, so it would be easier for them this time around.

I saw that too! I think it's a safety measure so people are less likely to fall out of the ring, but it's going to add a nice bit of dynamic movement to some matches.
its actually made mostly to prevent them to run around the back of the mountain

Oh trust. It allows athletes to use full speed going up the mountain. Makes the matches more dynamic
Not only is the sport advancing, but the way you're capturing the sport is changing too. The new camera work is so dynamic and exciting, it's a great pairing with the gameplay.
And it's really nice to have the UK commentary team back on. No disrespect to the American commentator team, but I wasn't a fan of the puns.

After Greg's injury it seemed like Marrero Gang were a bit lost at first. They pulled themselves back up though and deserved that win :D
I like that we got a move off the new tack board at the mountain! Could have been used more often I think.
Despite deserving the win, Marrero Gang didn't look very dominant, I think... Let's see how the Quarters look like. :)
