this Farm creek is Loaded with Big smallmouth Bass! (Unreal Bites)

Tucked away in a rural area lies a creek that can only be described as a "clear water farm creek" - not much of any information at all on this specific area and only being known to me because of a random day of exploring that brought me here. I remember catching a nice smallmouth from the bank and thinking; "man, this place could be pretty cool to paddle!" Welp, a couple of years later and here I am, floating this sucker with nothing more than a couple of rods, a paddleboard, and a hungry appetite for some fish catchin'.
The vision 110 jerkbait by Megabass proved yet again why it costs as much as it does - the freakin' thing just works! Between that and a little "crawler" ned rig, it was GAME ON! Started out fairly slow catching some smallmouth, but once we figure out the bait choices and dialed in where they were, there was plenty of Smallmouth bass to go around!

What weight Ned do you typically use? We are going to hop on the Ned Rig train. We have a few but they seem pretty light.

Great question! I mainly use 1/10 and 1/6 if it’s more current or deeper. Sometimes 1/5 but I try to stay as light as possible while also getting down and feeling the bites!
