      Tbh now that gukesh has won candidates. He might end up beating ding liren, obviously he is still weaker than magnus but considering his age, he might end up surpassing magnus at some point in the future and it is likely that he will tbh.

    Not only qualified but Gukesh shocked the world by winning from nowhere. After the heartbreaking defeat against Nepomniachtchi at the verge of victory, everyone ruled him out but with back to back victory he put himself in lead and then the amazing final draw and the little luck at the end made him deserving champion, feeling proud of him as a countryman
