We have a 2020 240bhwe... Love it so far, and havent had any issues yet.

Bryant Gibson that’s awesome! While I’ve had zero issues with the “T” mold countertops, I’m very jealous of the new style that come with the 2020. I actually have had zero problems with my trailer so far and that in its self is amazing from all the horror stories I’ve heard with other brands or models regardless what the purchase price was. Hope ya’ll enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours!

We bought a 2019 Springdale 240BHWE and love it. Interior trim and options are a little different. We have the outside grill and sink.

We have really enjoyed ours, of course there are a few things I wish it had come with like sealed countertops, electric stabilizer jacks, interior arched roof and the shower floor options. There are a few things that the east side version comes standard with that the west side version doesn’t. Regardless though, we’ve really enjoyed all our trips in it. So far we’ve had zero issues with it. Even got to test the quality of the seals on the slide with our last camping trip when the camping neighbors had a fire pit within a few feet of our slide. Couldn’t smell any smoke inside the RV. I’ve yet to use the outside kitchen on ours (fridge/ counter). Do you find yourself using the outside kitchen since you have a sink/grill. I’m think of buying a Weber grill and utilizing the counter to sit it on.

@@thelosttexan1912 I use the outdoor stove to cook food that splatters easy like bacon and sausage. I have not used the small fridge yet. I want to add a power tongue jack. We have had an issue with the entry door. The door sticks when it is hot out due to the metal expanding. I since adjusted to door jam it it does not stick now. The Springdale is well built and should last us for years.

I switched my manual tongue jack for this power tongue jack. So far it’s been nothing but awesome. It was super easy to install too.

@@thelosttexan1912 Thank you for the info. I am looking at the 4500lb Husky that come with a remote. These jacks look great. I was going to get the Lipart one until i saw the Husky.

We use our our door kitchen all the time. I took out the fridge, and put my 17in blackstone there.

What truck do you use to pull the 240BH? Will a 1/2 ton pull it safely? Thanks

@@walthobbs5864 I had a 2017 Ram 2500 at the time. I think if you had a 1/2 with a good payload and a 10k tow rating you’d be just fine. It was well under 10k, but you want that safety buffer. I’d just recommend using a distribution hitch system regardless what you tow with.

What is the red liquid in the shower and sink? Thanks for sharing!

chefhugo2017 That is RV antifreeze that you use when winterizing the water lines. It keeps the lines from freezing/bursting and is safe to consume water after the antifreeze is removed (unlike typical car antifreeze which is deadly)
