Happy moon festival everyone 🥰 Everywhere I went in Paris: 📍Tang frères 📍Mollé Pâtisserie 📍Pâtisserie saison 📍Mariage Frères Thank you so much for watching
I honestly wont really consider the last one a mooncake, because it looked more like mousse and i would prefer the traditional mooncakes or snow skin. The pattern on top of mooncakes are also really important which was something it was lacking!! 😕
Actually there are many kinds of mooncakes in different Asia cultures that aren't similar to the ones we think of. Some are like pancakes, others like cookies. Good to have an open mind 😁
I remember living in Shanghai during the Chinese New Year season. There is definitely a European/French element to life in Shanghai, which is reflected in this video here. Thank you for the upload. It brought back a lot of very good memories.
I really recommend you try other types of mooncakes as well, like the flaky salty kind there are so many types of cool mooncakes and they all taste so good
Honestly I feel that Singapore (where I live) has one of the best moon cakes ever especially during the mid autumn festival (which is rn yayyyyyy) (my friend literally gave me a free moon cake her father got from work n I’m eating it rn and it taste like heaven and it’s not even snowskin or durian which is my fav and it alr taste like freaking heaven. Btw the flavour is pure lotus with double egg yolk yummmm)
Yes we make really good mooncakes i got a box which was really expensive 88 dollars for 4 much more expensive than Paris there are more exones than that as well....
@@elenzhao5715well technically Singaporean & Malaysian Chinese ancestors were immigrated from China so any good recipe are now around, plus some ppl can make good mooncake other than in china,u just haven't try it out to know which is best
My parents make mooncakes a lot, and I attempted to make the mochi mooncake! I made a pistachio flavor bc I had just watched this video! It was sooo good and it was surprisingly not as hard to make as I expected it to be!
Hi I am too learning French from last 2 years...And I came across your channel and I am getting idea that what I will do and what to try in Paris. Merci beaucoup!!! Je t'aime❤️
my dad was on a business trip to Paris once and decided to buy a bag of earl grey tea from mariage freres for my mom and I. It was hella expensive but the tea was so good
So interesting because in Asia, at least South East Asia, we slice our moon cakes and eat them by slices instead of eating it as a whole as they're so rich!
Wanted to try a mooncake for so long and finally found it in Italy. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I got exactly the one you said was the cheapest one and it was so dry. I didn't like the dense texture at all 😔
Mooncakes are delicacies..you dont eat a whole mooncake ..you need to cut it up yo 4 or 6 pieces and you savour them. This is because you dont get this often just once a year so you savour it❤❤
??? I- the way you people eat mooncake are wild over there. At least in my family (in Asia), we cut the cake. They are supposed to be shared with others, like your family and friends.

Happy moon festival!!!! These mooncake all look delicious and I really want to try the durian one 😮 maybe I will learn to make it at home!
Omg I’m actually going to a event for the moon festival for my temple tomorrow
I honestly wont really consider the last one a mooncake, because it looked more like mousse and i would prefer the traditional mooncakes or snow skin. The pattern on top of mooncakes are also really important which was something it was lacking!! 😕
Yep. Just looks like a regular entremet for me
It’s doesn’t really matter how mousse it is it only matters what they use to make it I know this because I’m Chinese
So you wouldnt consider that mochi as mooncake as well?
@@user-tv4ih2kq6rthe mochi has mooncake pattern at least

If anyone's wondering: Mariage Freres is a tea shop they also serve cakes but their primary goods are tea. That's why the cake was coated in tea.
I had one of their ice cream sandwiches it was like 9€ lmao but in fairness it was delightful
Your dressing sense is sooo good 🥹 I would be glad if you'll post about that as well !
Oh my god! My heart stopped when you took a bite into a whole moon cake!
We usually cut it in 4 or 8 pieces to share. Moon cakes are so dense !
What a daredevil she is 😅😅😅 exactly, since she’s filming outside. But I usually ask for plastic knife when buying mooncake
I totally eat them whole lol I can handle it

Ikr the expression was priceless 😂🎉😊
Omg the mochi moon cake looks so good!
The last was not a mooncake tho- 😭
15€ in our country means ₹1,310.11 and I'm def not paying that for a mooncake anyways
Money issues
@@estebanod nahh, i mean it's not that i don't have that money. It's just that, just for a small mooncake I'm not paying that
