Thank you Cristy for introducing well our culture (and yours now, because you're now a teacher of Filipino culture to Koreans) to Soo. I'm more likely to call her Soo. Bagay sa kanyang jolly personality and a short of her name. At totoo ngang girl version sya ng kapatid nyang lalaki.
I'm glad that both of you likes pinoy foods.. I like also sooah kase she is so kalog.. Wala syang arte .. Fits cya dito sa pinas kase masayahin cya at cool.. Napanoid ko ung video nya na nagsasayaw cya dun sa pool which is so good at sobrang kalog nya dun.. Kaya keep it up guys!! 🤩 Make more funny videos cause I like your vloggs.. 😊
8:19 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I was one of those who suggested this name!!! I think ‘Joy’ truly suits her, because it really shows through her playful and energetic personality. 🤗🤗🤗
Going back to the previous video, Kristypata asked why it's called Corned when it has beef. Does it taste like corn?Well, "Corned beef, or salt beef in some Commonwealth countries, is salt-cured brisket of beef.[1] The term comes from the treatment of the meat with large-grained rock salt, also called "corns" of salt. Sometimes, sugar and spices are added to corned beef recipes. Corned beef is featured as an ingredient in many cuisines" There's also Corned Tuna, by the way.
As a 90's kid, highschool nung unang pinakilala sa amin yang cali and eventually, pinayagan kaming inumin yan. Salamat, Soo! ^^
If I cook tocino and longganiza, I boil them first in water (same din sa hotdog).
tip to easily peel garlic, using the flat side of your knife, (preferably the middle area of the knife), smash the garlic with its skin this will tear the skin and can easily be removed... the smashed garlic on the other hand, mabilis ng i-minced since it's smashed already...
Just an unsolicited advice (hehe): You can use citrus fruits like lemon or calamansi to remove the garlic smell from your hands. :) You can just simply squeeze out the juice (so it won't go to waste) and then wipe your hands on the peel. ;)
rubbing your hands/fingers with a stainless steel object (like a spoon, knife, or even the edge of your sink) under cold/running water, as if the spoon were soap can help eliminate the smell. I learned it from a chef.
Hi and good day Kristy, a cooking tip: it's easier to peel off garlic skins is by just crush the garlic flat on the cutting board ligthly with the knife and you'll see the result. Good breakfast meal and like I told you tocino and longganisa taste better with vinegar with fresh crushed garlic as dipping condiment, it adds flavor.
As an added taste to your hearty breakfast. You can use spicy vinegar for all of those viands. You can also do by mixing them with raw salt-sprinkled tomatoes. I'm sure by the end of your stay in the country, you'll get some weights just like your cousin.
We have different kinds of Longganisa, there is a sweet-kind and there is a garlic type. Each location has their version of Longganisa. I love Lucban Longganisa and Calumpit,Bulacan Longganisa.
Excellent cooking skills Manang Kristy. Just needs one thing....extra hot suka pinakurat to wash away the extra fats and balance the sweetness and saltiness.
i think a good english name for your cousin would be shine or maybe sunshine.. whenever she talks it feels like she's radiating with goodness and happiness or like its always bright and nice being with her thats why i thought maybe shine is a good english name..
To get the bawang smell off your hands, wash your hands with soap and a spoon in between your hands like you are washing the spoon with your hands. The metal will take away the smell.
When cooking longonisa don't use oil instead just boil in water.and let the water evaporates then longonisa produces it's on oil then use the left over oil to cook your garlic rice
That is normal to have natural beauty. That is not something to be ashamed about. It is sad when someone despises their own natural beauty because that Is the same as hating yourself and your existence.
to peel garlic easier, put garlic clove on flat surface, put flat side of knife on top of garlic, push down flat side of knife on garlic till “squished”. it’s now easier to peel…
I think Sooah will love some authentic filipino food like Kaldereta and viand with soup like Sinigang, Pochero and Bulalo or Nilaga..but pls do a vlog eating Dinuguan and Balut..im sure Sooah will love it🤗🤗💐 Helo Kristy and Sooah🤗🤗💐💐🙏
Is it Delimondo cornbeef? Super sarap ng cornbeef na yan, as in.. mahal lang tlga sya, pero masarap... akala ko nga imported yan eh, pinoy made pala yan..

I really like the personality of sooah being joyful and full of energy same like you. ❤
I think a name “Shine” suits her well. She smiles brightly like a sun Shine!

The version of Cali shandy before (what your dad told you not to drink) actually contains 0.5% alcohol.

Hi Kristy, I think your cousin Sooah is a real cutie and feel that Soo or Sue fits her.😊

You're such a good cousin, Kristy. 😀

Women who love to cook are rare nowadays. I married a traditional woman and she cooks great. Nice vid.

Also, after eating shellfish like shrimp or crabs. It removes the smell from your fingertips.
This is my first to see you not footing any make up of your face really nice to see you like this very simple so cute pretty I love it💋💋

Miss Kristy is sweet and caring to her cousin suah 🤗

Next time I want to hear Soo, saying charot 😂
Hi Kristy your good cook for breakfast ❤ enjoy branch God bless po 🙏
I agree,Soo can be your English name,Pinoys love to shorten someone's name. I agree with Kristy's recommendation for Soo as your English name
When I see her , I can see the name Sue fitting her well
Para po mas madaling tanggalin yun balat ng bawang ay pitpitin (pound with the flat side of the knife)
Yes Sue is a nice name
To get the bawang smell off your hands, wash your hands with soap and a spoon in between your hands like you are washing the spoon with your hands. The metal will take away the smell.
*better call her Sue( It's an English name),like the American actress Peggy Sue.*
*It's also pronounced as Soo, only the difference is the spelling.*

Here’s a tip! Rub your hands in the blade of a knife after soaping your hands. The garlic smell in your hands will disappear😊

@@praisesui-tyan shut up
Uunahan mo pa ako.
@@praisesui-tyanI think that’s because she said they didn’t have any other utensils
Please don't use google translate, didn't you know that you are speaking to her in an informal way?
Maybe time for Sooah to taste our sauces. For egg and corned beef, i like to put ketchup. For tocino and longanisa, i prefer with vinegar...
Try eating tocino then dip it in vinegar with minced garlic and pinch of salt it will be a bomb!
That is best eaten with hot black coffee he he. Wow yum yum
True struggle of sinangag lover. Hands smells garlic for days. 😂😂
