- Time to roll up the sleeves today! I go out looking for collectibles, get the wheels rolling and fix a scooter with my son! All in a days work!

The best part of these videos is watching you turn into a big kid when you find something special in one of your hauls. A lot to be excited about this time!
Back in the 60s and 70s, tvs had tubes in them. They soon changed to printed circuits and transistors. But when they were tubes, my dad could fix them all. I used to go with him to the store that had a tube tester and replacement tube that you could buy. Anyway, because my dad could fix them all, people would throw out broken tvs and my dad would pick them up and fix them. We had a tv in literally every room of the house, including the bathroom. We weren't rich, either, but people thought we were.
I remember the tube tester. And the tubes. However we did not know what we were doing and it never worked. I remember one time when our parents were gone for a few days and one of us spilled water on the TV. It was one of those big consoles that had the TV and stereos. We went to get the tubes and tried to fix it. It did not work. They came home and had to get the TV fixed. They were not happy. 😢❤❤❤
Really fun watching Abby riding like a pro and the completion. Very fun episode and everyone of your kids are amazing and their parents are the best role models and young at heart and super cool parents.

Stephen is really not a kid anymore. He's a proper adult, and it shows. In how he speaks, works, etc. I know we only see snippets, but it is really clear how adult he actually is now. Compared to like, three years ago.
I like how you guys are this cohesive family. You really project happiness with that.
That little Honda Spree... I love it. First of all, the color. Awesome. Then the engine, if I would have to name one engine brand that has always impressed me, it's Honda. They *always* work or are still working after ridiculous stressing of it.
We drove my son's Tesla from Ontario to New Mexico to clear out my late Mom's house. We loved it and it was amazing how much it held. Could you do a Tesla video sometime and share the features?🇨🇦

Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Most of the little cars etc there were in my collection as a kid. Lesney's ,Corgi's, Dinki's, Hot Wheels, passed them all on to my son. Although I did just find a large tote of Hot Wheels tracks, loops and launchers in my attic.

We had a Studebaker wagon when I was child. My dad loved that car, he would race the kids in it. Someone stole it a wrapped it around a telephone pole. He was devastated.
Btw, I knew Abigal would go for the scooter as soon as ypu showed it!!❤

My sister’s children before they were fully licensed had scooters like that Spree. Because they were under the age of 16, they had to have a 6foot high flag on the back of it. They used it to get back and forth to school.
That was very fun watching. The kids have fun on the motorcycle. And I like it when you get a bunch of Hot Wheels. Because you get all excited, you get excited on everything. But it's different with Red lion hot wheels
"you almost feel dirty washing them..." That's hilarious.
The Spree was called the Honda Melody in the U.K, a popular little moped along side the Honda Vision back in the eighties.

Seeing the wheels, Alex, reminded me of the following from The Melksham newspaper:
"Historic moment as last ever tyre is built at Avon ending production after 118 years.
The last tyres came off the production line at Cooper Tires last week, in a poignant moment for staff and the town, as the factory closes on Wednesday 20th December. Formerly Avon Tyres, the site been producing tyres in the town for 118 years"
I had many sets of Avon tyre on motorcycles during the 70s and early 80s. Sad news 💜

Hi Alex, I’ve been sick, so today I’m catching up on this weeks videos. I think the coolest piece that I saw today was the belt buckle gun. I thought it was amazing that it still had the little bullet in it. You are so blessed to have fans that give you the opportunity to not only just see their collections, but to then sometime buy them. I’m always so amazed by the items you show us. I’m glad you felt Abigail did so well driving the scooter for her 1st time. I on the other hand had no doubt that she would, obviously it’s in her blood. She is your Daughter after all. I think I spotted the Mach Five from Speed Racer! I have the Herbie VW bug from the Lindberg line from the 60s I believe & just picked up the Chevy Blazer from Jaws from the new Hot Wheel line. So fun seeing these toys!

I had a Maserati with biturbo and yeah when you have a car with that much power it does put a smile on your face when you hit the gas...lol
The red car behind the table with the stuff on it looks suspiciously like an iconic 300 SL Mercedes Benz nicknamed Gullwing. I think so because of the shape of the trunk lid and the narrowing rear car body.

Honda Sprees are like pet rocks. I've never been to a motorcycling dismantling yard and not seen them stacked like cord wood. Plastic bodies, they are going nowhere.
That belt buckle with the deranger is Mattel from 1958. My nephew bought a set just like it it came with a belt and holster and pistol. Also it had fake ammo

Those little Honda scooters have a vacuum fuel tap and they do fail and ethanol fuel is terrible for small engines
