Hi Sushma! Followed your recipe to the T. Cake turned out good. However, you can consider reducing the sugar from 200 GM to 150 GM. With all chocolate and condensed milk, for us the sugar content was quite on a higher side. I tried your rose milk cake too. That also was awesome! In that case also, I felt sugar was a bit too much. Thanks for the great recipes. You explain all the steps in detail. That really helps👍

I tried to turn upside down while it was still hot , will it cause the cake to break ? 2. My cake was not as flat or even looking as yours after baking , it was little raised in the middle & upper crust was little hard too. Was it due to heat of the oven (I kept mine at 355 degree F) ? I let the cake cool down under a fan as I was running out of time that day.

This is a type of springform pan. So you push the base of the cake pan upwards to release it. If you do not have such pan then consider watching our rose milk cake video to understand how to serve them

Hi brindha.. The recipe calls for standardised amount only. This is how I have been making cakes all along. You are definitely free to experiment or change the recipe or follow whatever suits you.. :) but my recipe would require that much leavening agents. thank you :)

I would say pratiksha.. It is less because I have added whipped cream frosting on top so added less milk. People generally add even more and the one collected on the cake pan is then served on your plate.. Just delicious.. That is the speciality of this cake :)
I have One measuring cup in tat it has cup measurement tat is 1/4 , 1/2, 1 ... etc till 2 cup measurement if I go according tat 1/2 cup is 100ml I.e 100gms n 1/4 cup is 50ml/gms
@@deepikajain9971 cup measurements are not same dear.. 1 cup flour is never equal to 1 cup sugar.. and this is the main reason why most of us fail while baking.. measuring the ingredients properly is the key to making a good recipe.. 🙂 my 1 cup flour is 120 gms and 1 cup liquid is 250 ml

I am not clear with your question. Do you mean if you use this chocolate cake as the base recipe for making any other cake then do you still have to brush with milk? If that is your question no depending upon what recipe you are making you can simply soak it in a sugar syrup. Yes you may totally do whatever you feel like to customize a cake only with experiments you will learn.. and yes I always use unsalted butter in baking

I see you added butter in the recipe. So when u refrigerate the cake, does it not harden up? My cakes become dense when I put them in fridge. Any tips there? Btw- ur final cake looks yum
Thank you Shilpi.. The cake does harden up a bit but not to a level where it would turn dense. But if you leave it out for 15 20 mins before serving it turns soft again.. For you my suggestion would be to try an oil based recipe or some other butter based cake recipe and see.. As I don't know which recipe you are using I cannot comment much.. Sorry

I am in this business for 5 years now and totally understand the ethics of it. This recipe is not what she has shared on the channel. The base recipe is totally different. And tres leches cake is a Mexican dessert that calls for the addition of 3 milk layers on top so obviously anyone who would make this recipe will have to use the milk to go on top and the tres leches cake also is generally finished with whipped cream topping and I have also followed that. If you do a quick search on youtube you would find many creators who have made this and few even before Emma so I don't think it would be fair to call out anyone for that matter. I have always given link back and due credit to the original creator when I have followed their recipe. So rest assured in this case I haven't and if I do I will surely give credit to

I have 20 ltr convection microwave. Baking temp and time should be same. I have burnt top and cake is slightly goey in the middle
