It has both bluetooth and wireless connections so you can use either one and you can use them for two separate devices, such as wireless for your PC and bluetooth for your tablet:) It does not come with software nor any available, you do all the settings on the mouse itself using the buttons and the lcd screen on the mouse. BIG deal breaker is that you can't use any other USB cables due to the shape of the connection:(

the battery percentage is 80% at the beginning of the video and 30% at the end. The battery runs out that fast?

No sw needed. Programing the buttons is done straight on mouse using integrated display and buttons. It is explained in video.
